Today, I went to see FROZEN with my mother! What an uplifting naturally funny beautifully magic film. (that was a mouthful) on a serious note I really did enjoy it. Frozen starts off as two young sisters (Anna and Elsa) playing around in their huge castle while one sister Elsa has magic powers; she can create snow and ice. This starts off all fun making a snowman and making piles of snow to play in till something happens, from then on the girls are separated for years until Elsa’s coronation.

Frozen leaves you wondering whats going to happen throughout the film, will they have summer again? Does Anna have powers too? What I really loved about this film was the ending, Disney always has the stereotypical the handsome man saves the day and in this case it doesn’t happen, i was shocked! also as a narrative there’s always a bad guy and he’s not who you expect either!

My best part? Has to be the cute goofy snowman. He is so cute! And the things he says are so funny too, the film has aspects of the film for both grown ups as well the children. He’s the typical stupid sidekick friend that says silly things and try’s to save the day.

My worst part? Well it’s not really a bad part because the film was soo good but i did get a little bored when they were singing, especially between Anna and a prince, i was a little ah really 🙁 however it isn’t a musical its just like what Disney does, an occasional song like Tangled.

The soundtrack? Demi lovato does the official song for Frozen “Let it Go” at the end credits which is a really good song, it’s also performed by the character Elsa as she is creating a castle from ice!

It really is a must see film for both adults and children. It’s definitely girl audiences. they’ve even brought out merchandise already like magazines, dolls… (I wouldn’t find the snowman and the reindeer teddy – so cute)

“Let it go” is by far my favorite song from Frozen, it’s so catchy! I can see this becoming the next Disney Broadway show like The Lion King or Beauty and the Beast. It was interesting to see Disney break away from their normal princess movie formula of having the prince save the day. Nice review, Bethany!

It really is! Both Demi and the character song it so good. Ah I hope so is definitely go see it. And yeah it really was good doing something different than the stereotypical prince saying the day. Thanks a lot!
