2014 Beauty Favourites

We’re already one week into 2015! So I’ve seen a couple of posts on what beauty products people loved last year so I decided to share to you all mine! To rekindle last year, I have dug through my ever-growing cosmetic collection and picked 9 products I’ve used throughout the year that I will continue too in 2015! 2014 Beauty Favourites

People get so confused with this product, what exactly does or can it do? The Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat for me is a gorgeous pinky/nude highlighter and concealer. Since I bought it the beginning of last year I’ve constantly used it to hide dark circles, pimples and blend across the cheeks and forehead. After a year almost this is the same product, its amazing how long it’s lasted! 2014 Beauty Favourites

Another Yves Saint Laurent product! Their Shocking Mascara is my all time favourite. Since last year I think this is my third one and it’s truly amazing how long and full they make your lashes. You don’t need to keep pumping it either, one pump can do both eyes – It’s that easy! 2014 beauty favouritesThis Mac Mineralize Skinfinish in ‘refresh’ was part of the Sharon Osbourne collection. The collection sold out almost immediately but a couple of months ago I spotted this in a makeup shop. It’s very similar to a contour kit, the bronzer is really light but looks lovely on the cheek bones. And the light shimmer is gorgeous on the cheeks and eyelids. I only paid £17 for this and I’m trying to make it last a while in 2015, as I doubt I’ll find another!

Benefit’s Watt’s Up is THE bronzer! It’s a soft focus highlighter that works perfect under the brows and on the cheeks! I think the shade works great on most skin tones and it lasts sooo long. I originally had the mini size before buying the full product, it even comes with a small buffing sponge on the other end to help blend in. It’s a gorgeous bronze highlighter all year round! 2014 Beauty Favourites

I’ve never had a foundation match my skin tone soo much till I found Clinique’s SuperBlanced Makeup. This light dewy foundation works great with my skin, it sets really well and lasts all day. Even better its water resistant and contains antioxidants to help the skin. This shade is 05 Vanilla and compliments my skin with or without tan. 2014 Beauty Favourites

I absolutely love red lipsticks, especially since I bought this one a few months back .This L’Oreal Collection Exclusive Lipstick is by Blake Lively ‘Pure Red’. That appealed to me straight away but the stick itself moistures the lips and is long-lasting, it stains the lips and I just really prefer matte lips to glossy lipstick. It’s just the perfect red tone. IMG_7569

I’m not one for lipglosses, there too sticky for my liking however this one is the perfect balance of gloss and stick. This Yves Saint Laurent Lip Stain, soakes in once applied and feels more like a lipstick. The colour 105 is a gorgeous pinky peach colour and I wore it constantly over summer. I definitely want to get more shades in this lip stain. IMG_7570

Now people have been love or hate with this newly released product from benefit. But for me I love it. I got the They’re Real Push Up Liner in summer when it came out and I find it easy to use, the gel lasts longer than a typical liquid liner but it can get a little flaky. After 5 months of using I’ve just bought a new one.. I think that’s great for liner so definitely worth the money. IMG_7571

And finally my salvation for contouring! I rave about this product so much on my blog and i think I’ve had about 5 now! I go through it so quickly but for £10 it is worth the money. I get the Sleek Contour Face Form in ‘light’ the bronze is just the right shade and the highlighter is a gorgeous shimmery cream to highlight the cheeks, nose and forehead. The blush however I don’t use that after as you can see, I tend to use an other one.

So that’s my 2014 beauty faves, are any of these your favourite too?
