I’m actually obsessed with highlighters lately. So much soo that I have a draw dedicated to liquid, bakes and shimmer highlighters. When I first glimpsed at the Urban Decay Naked Illuminated a few months back I knew it was going to be a gorgeous glow to the face. When I went to buy it in Debenhams they had completely sold out (before Christmas). This limited edition set I luckily found in my local Debenhams store a couple of days ago, there was only a handful left so I got the Aura Shade!
The Naked Illuminated comes in two shades; Aura and Luminous. Aura is a lot more peachy whereas Luminous is more of a cream shimmer. It’s a lightweight, baked powder for the face and body that contains a ‘sophisticated, microfine shimmer worthy of the Naked name’. It leaves skin smooth, silky and luminous.
Not only does the curved pan look amazing, but it’s packaged fabulously in a handy compact with a hidden brush compartment. If you are wary of a little sparkle and shine; the powder does contain a serious amount of shimmer, only a tiny little spread is needed to illuminate the cheek bones, forehead and cupid bow.
This baked golden peachy pink powder is definitely one for complementing any party outfit! I can see how it was so popular through the christmas period to help every festive fairy sparkle.
What do you think of the new Naked highlighter?
This is SO pretty! I love Urban Decay. This is definitely another product added to my wishlist! I really like this shade as it looks more warming 🙂 x

It really is! Yes it is actually, it’s a better shade than luminous. 🙂 x

[…] After loving Super Orgasm (here) and how pigmented it was, I was intrigued to see how a highlighting blush would match up. I picked up the shade ‘New Order‘ and I’d say it’s a really light pinky-lilac. Once applied it acts as a sparkly glitter rather than a sheen. It’s very similar to my Urban Decay Illuminated (here).
