August Favourites

August FavouritesAugust FavouritesWere a week into September already! I was on holiday last month so I didn’t have chance to post a July favourites, so I’ve included two months worth of favourites for August!

August FavouritesFor skin care I literally cannot talk enough about The Body Shops Virgin Mojito body butter. Not only does it smell a dream, it feels amazing on the skin too. For face, I’m loving Jurlique’s Rose Moisture plus Revitalising Gel-Lotion. I’ve never tried a gel lotion before, it’s so much better than a cream. I’ve been putting this on before bed and it gives my skin that little glow when I wake up on a morning!

For a contour palette, that will never let me down its got to be Urban decay’s Naked Flushed palette. Their highlighter and bronzer is perfect on my skin, it features both matte and shimmer. I just wish the highlighter was of bigger quantity than the blush. Another highlighter I’ve loved this month is Benefit’s High Beam. A liquid highlighter that sets perfect with any foundation!

My go-to eyebrow kit at the moment is this L’Oreal Brow Artist Genius Kit. It has little tweezers and double brush applicator. It comes with a medium brown powder and gel and I literally cannot compliment it enough. It’s so easy to use and leaves my brows looking good each time.

August Favourites

I’ve wondered for ages what it’s like to have a Tangle Teezer. It’s a product where I’ve never really thought of getting but a couple of months ago FeelUnique had a massive sale on and I got 20% off it so I though ooh I may as well. Since, I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my hair, I’ve had less tangles and I just find it a lot easier than a normal brush. I’m not gonna lie it took me a while to get used to it, but if you don’t have one, try it!

Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray is perfect to spritz in your hair to give that beach wave look in seconds! You only need to spray a couple of times on your hair or hands and just ruffle it through your hair. I used this practically every day on holiday when my hair dried naturally. Since, I’ve used it when my hair is curled and just adds a little texture!

A BB cream that has magical powers – no lie. L’Oreals Nude Magique BB cream fits to your skintone. It comes out a cream colour and once you massage it into your skin, it changes to a warm medium tone. Smart pigment capsules do this. If you want a light coverage that looks natural, this is perfect.

Barry M’s Starry Eyed palette is that perfect little travel palette for night-time. With dark glittery shadows and a peachy blush, I loved using it on holiday. The warm tones I’d say are perfect for Autumn too but worked great this summer.

And finally my fave mascara I’ve probably talked loads already is Lancome Hypnose. I got two of these for just £16 in House of Fraser’s sale.. How good?! Its got it all, lengthening and separating! Only thing is it’s starting to dry up already. Always seems the case with high-end mascaras.

Are any of these your faves at the moment?
