A Lush Halloween…

A Lush Halloween...

Yesterday, Lush officially launched their Halloween collections in-store! So as soon as I finished work, I popped along and bought the whole collection

A Lush Halloween...

My favourite time of the year! Halloween is only just over a month away…

I was only expecting to buy a couple of items, but with them all smelling so nice I decided I may as well own the full collection and try them out. I dunno about you but how cute do they all look? Very colourful considering its for a Halloween but the fragrances certainly smell of autumn. A beautiful mix of spiced orange, cinnamon and vanilla.

I can’t really remember last years collection to compare but the only familiar ones I remember is the glittery pumpkin and Lord of Misrule. As far as I know, the Autumn Leaf and Monster’ Ball are new this year! I couldn’t find Goth Fairy in my local lush but it looks such a pretty soap.

So here’s the low down…

A Lush Halloween... A Lush Halloween...

Lord Of Misrule – Bath Bomb – Can’t really describe the scent of this one but it smells nice, kind of citrus-y! This bath bomb (£3.95) is filled with popping candy and inside reveals a dark pinky centre. You can see the mixture of colours on the outside. I nearly picked up the shower gel in this but I’m going to test this out first and if it smells just as nice in water, I’ll probably pick up a small bottle too!

Boo – Bath Melt – This is literally so tiny and cute! It smells like a vanillay-ginger soap to me, don’t you think it looks like a meringue? I’m not sure if this is worth £3.50 due to the size but with it containing cocoa butter, I thought this will be lovely to make your skin soft in the colder weather.

Autumn Leaf – Bath Bomb – this is definitely one of my favourites out of the collection. The colours look so pretty and after seeing my local lush showcase it in water, it looks like a Catherine wheel of colours. It smells so fresh and my mum loves the scent of it too, a good price for £3.75 as you can easily break it up for my bath uses.

Sparkly Pumpkin – Bubble Bar – This another one of my favourites due to how good it smells! The only bubble bar out of the Halloween collection but it’s filled with gorgeous glitter that smells of lime and cinnamon. Yum! You can always get at least three baths out of a bubble bar so it’s a good price for £3.95.

Monsters’ Ball – Bath Bomb – This reminded me straight away of their Easter collection with the colours. It’s so cute I just had to pick two up. It’s quite a large bath bomb (£4.25) and not gonna lie due to the colour I thought it may have smelt similar to snow fairy. Instead I’d say it smells a bit like the Twilight bath bomb, it has lime oils in it so it’s very fruity! The eye is filled with cocoa butter so again this is another bath product that will not only look amazing but make your skin feel lovely too.

Pumpkin – Bath Bomb – Now this smells like autumn to me, with spiced vanilla and cinnamon its got a very biscuit-y scent but its lovely! This is another product that would definitely leave you smelling nice, it doesn’t feature any cocoa butter or as many oils as the other so if you don’t like that kind of oily feel, you’ll like this one!

A Lush Halloween...

Overall I’d say Autumn Leaf and Sparkly Pumpkin are my favourite scents. The cutest would definitely be Monsters’ Ball and so far I’m pretty impressed with Lush’s Halloween collection. I’m going to enjoy using these over the next couple of weeks and I can definitely see me stocking up on at least a couple of these products before their gone!

Have you bought any yet? What’s your favourite?

  1. I love the new halloween range, I wish autumn leaf would stay all year round! 😫

Goth fair isn’t a soap, it’s a shimmer bar that you can use as a highlight! (: x
