Joan Collins Beauty

A beauty collection tailored with elegance and luxury from the Queen herself: Joan Collins.

Joan Collins Beauty

I couldn’t believe how beautiful this collection is when this all arrived on my doorstep. I was so lucky to receive two Divine Lipsticks* and the Compact Duo*.

I’m not gonna lie, I had no idea this brand existed till I got an email, shame on me! Joan Collins Timeless Beauty is of course hand-crafted by the glamorous icon herself and the collection aims to inspire women to feel beautiful at any age and I can totally see why.

The golden collection features all the tools you need to create elegant looks from red carpet glamour to summer goddess.

So first off, how amazing is the packaging? The lipstick capsules shout luxury in my opinion. I’m a sucker for gold so these are to dye for. I love the etched detail with the embossed JC sign too. Very similar to Charlotte Tilbury isn’t it? And my readers know how much I LOVE that brand.

As you all know, I’m obsessed with lipsticks so to receive three in such beautiful shades I couldn’t wait to try them. The Divine Lip range are of a creamy texture with a slight matte finish. It’s basically skincare in a lipstick! They are formulated to not only apply a beautiful pigment of colour, it also helps hydrate and make lips feel fuller.

A creamy formula is one of my favourite finishes in a lipstick so I was excited to see how luscious these felt on and most importantly if the lasting power is as incredible as they say.

Well? Yes of course it is. Fitting with the name, they smell divine too!

Here’s a low down on the shades:

Evelyn: A fresh coral with a fuchsia finish.

Suzy Starr: A summery coral with an orange tone.

Sadie: A rose brown with a metallic shimmer.

All three shades are super wearable for me, I love wearing coral this time of year too. I think the colours compliment a tan and Joan herself recommends these shades are perfect for blondes and redheads – they really have picked the best shades for me!

As well as the two lipsticks, I also received the Compact Duo featuring a pressed powder and a lipstick which of course I got Sadie.

The magnetic compact is the perfect quick fix. You can keep this in your bag as a touch up and the pressed powder as a setting powder to keep your makeup in place.

The good thing about this travel-ready compact is that it will fit any lipstick. So you can change the lipstick to match an outfit, the occassion or to switch from day to evening – such a clever idea!

I’m so pleased to have the opportunity to try this beautiful brand. There’s nothing not to like, the packaging is luxurious the quality is amazing and I can honestly say this is a collection I will continue to add. I think an item from Joan Collins Timeless Beauty would make the perfect gift for someone.

Have you tried this brand? What lipstick shade would you wear?

I didn’t realise that this as a brand out there! Just seen that it’s available at M&S, it very much reminds me of the Rosie for Autograph collection. The compact duo looks so luxurious as well, like a YSL product! xx
