T-Zone Charcoal & Bamboo collection

T-Zone Charcoal & Bamboo collection

With the black peel off masks being a skincare favourite lately, I mean who doesn’t love watching videos of people taking them off! I was super excited when T-zone got in touch and asked if I’d try out their new Charcoal & Bamboo collection*.

I’ve been a fan of T-zone for years, it’s a skincare brand I would always reach for if I’m having a breakout and I need something to target those spots fast. Like a lot of brands, charcoal is a popular ingredient in skin products as the activated charcoal acts like a magnet to draw out dirt, oil and impurities from the pores. Sounds amazing right?

The bambo extract then helps to control oil whereas the grapefruit soothes the skin. This concoction aims to leave you with a clearer and healthier complexion!

So the Charcoal & Bambo products range from face wipes, face scrub, nose strips, peel off masks and a cleanser. If you have oily skin or spot-prone skin, check out my thoughts on these items…

Black Peel Off Mask

Starting with T-zone’s hero product, the peel off mask helps to draw out impurities, peels away blackheads and unclogs pores. I’ve used a few of these masks lately and love them. I’ve always preferred peel off masks, they’re so much easier with less cleanup. With trying a couple of different brands, I noticed Tzones was so much easier to remove, it wasn’t painful like those videos you see online. I have combination skin so I can see myself reaching for this when I’m oily for a quick face mask.

Nose Pore Strips

Like the peel off mask, these nose strips also help to unclog pores and I know a lot of people love these for the blackhead removal too. My nose is prone to collect oils so I find these so handy to use out of the three products. The application takes seconds and you simply peel off after about 10 minutes. A quick fix skin routine!

Ultra Purifying Face Wash

Before this arrived my go-to face wash / cleanser would be Biore’s charcoal cleanser. It’s almost identical to this with the same ingredients but T-zone’s version is a little cheaper. So you can imagine I started to test them both out to compare and although I would buy both again, this is a good alternative if you want to save pennys. It’s cleanses so easily to remove stubborn makeup and leaves you with that soft fresh skin feel!

Overall what’s not to like about T-zone? It’s affordable skincare that works! I’ve noticed a big difference in my complexion using the face wash in my skincare routine and applying the peel off mask a couple of times a week.

Have you seen or tried any of the new range?
