What a year 2017 has been! I’ve discovered new products, new brands so today I’m sharing my top beauty favourites throughout the year!
2018 hasn’t started on a good note, I’ve had the flu for the last week so apologies for the delay in posting. Now its out the way (I hope) I’m going to get on with providing lots more fresh content for you all, I have a good feeling for this year and I’m ready for it!
Anyways back onto my 2017 beauty favourites, a lot of these are releases throughout the year and also products I just swear by and will continue to use in 2018.
So let’s get started…
Kiss Products Beautiful Brow Kit*
I love this brand, you’d normally see me wearing their Impress nails but one underrated product they have is their brow kit. The kit comes with two powders, a wax and a highlighter. You also get a small razor, application brush and brow shape stencils. So your ultimate kit for perfect brows, I use the light brown and its the perfect shape, the highlighter is gorgeous for your brow bone too.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Lips
I love a liquid lipstick and this is incredible. I picked up ‘Dangerous Liason’ and its the perfect deep red. I’ve mentioned this product for the past few months and it’s just one them purchases you’re so glad you made. I definitely want to try more shades, there’s nothing not to like, the application is great, its long-lasting and super pigmented!
Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir*
What can I say, I think I’ve finally found my perfect mascara. I’ve tried so many from Lancome to Urban Decay but this beauty really has pulled it out the bag for me. I’ve only had this a couple of months but I know already I’ll be re-purchasing it in 2018!
Benefit Galifornia (review)
Such a beautiful blusher. Not only is the packaging cute, this applies a rosy pink tone to your cheeks. Look perfect with a tan because you all know I love a bit of shimmer. It’s definitely an all year round blush.
SkinChemist Rose Quartz Moisturiser*
I’ve feature only one skincare product in here, just because this is by far my favourite out of them all. I mean its pink magic, when I wear this it always gives me an instant radiance. It works amazing as a primer too in the warmer months!
MAC Skinfinish Bronzer
Mac has to be my go-to brand for bronzers. I’ve had the shade golden rinse for about two years now, this shade only seems to stock in limited edition collections but throughout the year I’ve stocked up on this. It creates the perfect contour that’s matte and doesn’t look cakey – it’s very subtle!
Urban Decay Naked Heat (review)
How could I not include this? Naked Heat definitely sizzled our 2017 summer. Every girl had (or wanted) this and it’s just one of those palette that you just didn’t put down. I loved creating warm eye looks and it also got used throughout winter too. Definitely one of the best palettes they’ve brought out!
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution
Hands down my favourite lipstick formula ever. I have three shades from the collection but my overall favourite has to be Sexy Sienna. It’s my go-to pinky nude, if you love a coral tone you’ll love this. I know the price is a little on the expensive side but truthfully, its worth every penny compared to other luxury brands. You can see I’ve nearly used it up in two years!
MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish (review)
My favourite makeup collection from 2017 has to be Snowball. I mean just look how beautiful the Snowflake highlighter is? The pigment on this is insane, I want to use it but at the same time you don’t want to use it to ruin the snowflake – makeup lover problems!
Michael Kors Wonderlust
My 2017 fragrance has to be this rose gold beauty! It’s the perfect mix of floral with a musky tone. There’s nothing not to like and I’m sure if you’ve smelt it, you’ll agree. I guess its more a summer fragrance but I’ve loved wearing this throughout the winter months too.
Too Faced Sweet Peach (review)
The sweetest palette I own. No seriously even like eight months later this palette still smells of peaches. I haven’t used this much lately but once Spring is in the air, this will be my go-to palette again. It has so many gorgeous matte and shimmer shades!
Benefit Hoola Body Bronzer (review)
If I’m going somewhere last-minute and I need an instant tan this is my fave! The Hoola bronzer creates a natural colour that lasts all day. It doesn’t feel sticky and you have no worries with spilt drinks too, it just washes off with soap the next day. It also smells lovely too, no nasty smells!
Charlotte Tilbury Bar of Gold (review)
By no surprise here my favourite highlighter has to be Tilbury. I’ve mentioned this product soo many times of my blog but If I’m doing a roundup I have to include it right? If you love a golden shimmer this has to be on your makeup list.
Urban Decay Naked Skin Shapeshifter (review)
The best contour kit! With creams and powders what’s not to like? I love the packaging of this with the mirror, which makes it a travel essential. The cream powder is perfect for hiding your dark circles and I just love the cream bronze. They all blend perfectly, another great release from Urban Decay!
Wow what a list, I didn’t realise how many products there was last year ’til you look at this! 2017 had so many amazing beauty releases and I can’t wait to see what comes out in 2018. Do let me know if any of these are your favourites too or if your thinking of trying any!
