To celebrate Organic week, Antipodes kindly sent me a couple of their best-selling skincare range. This generous selection of organic skincare had me hooked as soon as I seen the packaging.
Organic Beauty week runs from 14th September to 20th. I’ve just missed it but the reason for this is mainly because I wanted to really get used to these products before I reviewed them. This week focuses on increasing awareness of the benefits of organic beauty – which sounds great to me.
Antipodes is an all natural skincare brand from New Zealand. They are a well recognised brand in the blogging world so I was extremely excited when they wanted me to try out some of their stuff. From looking more into their brand and philosophy, I couldn’t think of a better company to feature Organic Beauty week on.
So let’s get into it shall we? Aside from their simplistic nature packaging goes, you can tell by the texture and fragrance of the serums how fresh and organic they are. Specifically Worship Superfruit Antioxidant Serum. It’s hard to directly describe the fragrance but you can definitely smell blackcurrant and Kiwi – it’s so fruity and sweet! This little pot contains all the antioxidants you need to keep your skin looking and feeling young – it’s never too early to anti-age right?! This serum is water-based with a brownish berry colour so I found it easy to apply considering it was a little runny.
I used both this serum as well as Hosanna H20 Intensive Skin-Plumping Serum before moisturising. This is definitely my favourite from the two, it smells so lovely and fresh; it kinda reminds me of baby products like talc! Which by personal preference I find it so comforting. This is also a water-based serum but feels a little thicker too. After using this for over a week, I’ve noticed my complexion feels firmer and glowy. It says it improves skin appearance and I can honestly say it has!

The Rejoice Light Facial Day Cream is so lovely to apply before your foundation. I’m not going to lie I wasn’t a big fan on the smell, the sweet almond was too sweet for me and a little overpowering however in terms of a cream and texture, it did feel lovely and light on the skin. It soaked in pretty quick too which is perfect for a day cream. If your after a non oily day cream then I would recommend this – its great for oily and combination skin. This is why I love organic skincare they are way more suitable for all skin types.

These certified organic products are just a little sample of what Antipode offer. For me, I feel the effect of organic products last a lot longer than normal skincare. I’ve tried a lot of non-organic products and loved them but I haven’t seen as noticeable results like I did with the serums especially. I’m still relatively new to serums and face oils so this has been a treat to try these and it’s definitely widened my options!
To Note: All Antipodes products are cruelty free and approved by the UK Vegetarian Society.
