Freedom Brow Pomade

Freedom Brow Pomade A little pot that produces the best colour and shape for your brows? YES please! Freedom Makeup have created a cheaper alternative to Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade and I swear they are literally identical.

Freedom Brow PomadeSo I don’t actually own the ABH version but after seeing so many reviews of how great the pomade was, I was literally inches away from buying it. Until, I found Freedom Makeup. The sister company of Makeup Revolution, their high class low budget make-up seems to be hitting it well with bloggers. Personally I love their make-up all around and they seem to ‘copy’ well dupe famous brands such as Too Faced but this is just the perfect example. Freedom Brow PomadeThe ABH version retails for £15 which did put me off a little bit, I mean the pot will last a very long time but It’s hard to look at the colours online, so I can’t even swatch, £15 is a lot if it’s totally not the right shade. However Freedom Makeup are now stocked in most Superdrug’s and online. So I picked up two of their shades.

Freedom Brow PomadeAside from the packaging, I’ve heard the texture and formula is almost identical. When applying the pomade, this one takes a little longer to set but that’s nothing to be put off by is it? So here I’ve got soft brown (top) and Medium Brown (bottom). I got the medium brown online but it was a little too dark on my brows so I picked up soft brown in store. Although all these shades are named exactly like ABH, apparently they are a little darker to them.

So I suggest going for a lighter shade for you as I though I’d be medium brown when i wasn’t. Theres 11 shades to choose from so definitely enough for everyone’s skin shade and hair colour.

Freedom Brow PomadeSo what exactly does this pot of pomade do? Freedom describes this eyebrow pomade as an at home solution to HD brows. It’s a gel like formula that makes it easy to apply, that offers a bold impact to create a professional natural looking brow. Smudge proof and Waterproof all for just £5.

Freedom Brow PomadeAs you can see, The Medium brown is a lot darker than the soft brown. So definitely bare a shade lighter in mind when buying. But if you can, swatch them in-store like I did rather than buying online. I think for the price it’s definitely put me off buying Anastasia Beverly Hills, for now. If you’re considering buying one, try this first at least to get used to it then treat yourself to ABH. Or if you want an alternative you know… Try it! I love using it now. Heres me wearing soft brown below.

Have you ever tried Freedoms version of Dipbrow Pomade?

  5. Sounds like such an awesome alternative to the ABH and for less! I’m not the biggest fan of these pomades as I consider them a little difficult to handle, especially at those early hours in the morning… 😅😅😅 My faves are eyebrow pencils! Easy to use and so precise! 😘, Annie

    1. Yeah definitely! Aw I don’t mind them me, see I never use pencils always powder or brow mascara if I’m in a rush x

      1. I used to use powder and mascara as well but I was converted by the Hourglass brow pencil… As all beauty bloggers were! Haha! 😅😅😅
