Bblonde Lightening Spray Review

IMG_6031Want your hair to look sunkissed and radiant? Well a couple of weeks ago i was sent the Lightening Spray by Jerome Russel (Bblonde). I have heard of the brand before, seeing their dying boxes on shelves for you guessed it blondes! So i was really excited to try their new product. I must say i’m not a natural blonde but i love having blonde hair and this seemed a perfect opportunity to naturally lighten my hair. This Salon Quality brand is the No.1 Blonding brand so i was expecting very high expectations.

This product isn’t recommended for darker hair types such as brown as the colour result is permanent. It gradually lifts the natural colour in as little as three applications. They do recommend not to exceed 10 applications. The product is very easy to apply. Simply wash your hair in your normal routine, towel dry your hair and as brushing through, apply a couple of sprays until its evenly distributed in your hair. Do wear gloves as the product contains hydrogen peroxide and ammonia. After each application i sometimes dried it or let it dry naturally. What i love about the product is that it featured a Thermal protector for added heat protection when your drying or styling your hair, this gives soft and glowing hair.

Here are my results above on how i got on from my first to eighth application. I tried my best to take the photo in the same natural light to prove how lighter its got. Before, my hair was highlighted blonde with a little caramel, now its hard to notice its highlighted and looks one block colour. I’m really pleased with the colour it looks a light natural blonde and my hair doesn’t feel frizzy or dry.

I just want a few highlights to give a ‘sun kissed’ look. I am 58 and have a bit of grey in my roots, l use ‘Lightest Brown’ permanent colour with some blonde very fine highlights mostly around the top and sides of hair. I have shoulder length curly hair, which l straighten with my G.H.D’s. My natural curls are more of a loose spiral curl not a tight Afro curl. I love my long hair, hate the grey that is coming through and, feel that if l can keep colouring and streaking l intend to do so for as long as l can get away with it at my age, haha! Looking forward to seeing the results after using Jerome’s product, which l have used in the past and was so happy with the results l created myself and not spent a fortune at a hairdressers, when at times have left the salon feeling disappointed and not achieved the results l was looking for from a ‘Professional Hair Salon’. In the meantime thanks for reading my comments and, should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me. Also thanks for saving me a lot of money.

    Kind regards,

    Val Lloyd
