I decided to treat myself to the M&S Beauty advent calendar! After searching forever which one to get, this one seemed perfect for £25.. With over £200 worth of goodies. So lets see what I got in week 1!
The Ultimate beauty Advent Calendar. This fairly sized box contains 24 boxes filled with a variety of cosmetics, with a lot of familiar brands too so you can imagine how excited I was to open it last week. So each week I’ve decided to do a little commentary of what I got each week in a little list. From the photos, you can see so far so good.
Day 1: Philip Kingsley Elastizer 40ml.
Day 2: Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream.
Day 3: Cowshed Grumpty Cow Body Lotion 100ml.
Day 4: PUR Volume Vixen 4-in-1 Mascara 4.8ml.
Day 5: Leighton Denny Renovate Nail Repair Cream 10ml.
Day 6: M&S Nuit Parfum 15ml.
Day 7: Rituals Zensation Foaming Shower Gel 50ml.
So for my first week of opening this calendar I’m impressed. There’s not many makeup products more skincare but I do like the variety of brands and items so far. It’s definitely making me more excited to open each box every day! I personally love the perfume but it’s so musky I’m not sure if its aftershave? Surely not in a beauty calendar.. I’m looking forward to using the hair treatment and foaming shower gel.
