Autumn styling with PrettyLittleThing

Say goodbye to the bikini’s and hello to darker shades with PrettyLittleThing!

Its the beginning of September which means Autumn is fastly approaching. Although I’m not ready to say goodbye to summer just yet, I am looking forward to the warmer clothing and darker shades. So when PrettyLittleThing contacted me recently, they set me a challenge! To style a range of clothing ready to transition into Autumn!

Read on to see what I picked and how I styled them…

Autumn daywear pieces

For a casual daywear look, I decided to keep with a popular summer trend. Animal prints never date but they’ve been really popular this year. So I picked the snake print midi skirt (£25) paired with a burgundy PLT slogan top (£10). Featuring my cat Darcy! This is ideal for a day out where it could be a little chilly. Simply pair with some comfy trainers or some sandals if the weathers still warm!

black jumpsuit

For something a little more in between, you can’t go wrong with a jumpsuit! This black utility jumpsuit (£28) is versatile for any occasion. Wear with animal print sandals for a cute day look or barely-there heels for a night out. Plus you could easily layer this up with a cardigan or fur coat in the winter!

Autumn going-out styles

For a night out look you can’t go wrong with a skirt and top. Black leather skirts are a go-to in winter. This faux leather biker skirt (£22) can team up with so much in the winter. You could wear a crop top or bodysuit! So I opted for the rust polka dot one shoulder blouse (£20). The two colours mix really well together and I’d finish the look with some nude stilettos or in snakeskin.

My last piece and favourite from this Autumn campaign! Shift dresses have been a hit this summer and I can already tell they’ll continue throughout Autumn and Winter this year too. Again, more animal print! This satin red leopard dress (£30) is perfect for a special occasion. It’s another versatile outfit that you could easily dress down through the day with a coat and boots. Or dress up with your favourite bag and nude heels! I love outfits like this where they can be worn for more than one thing. Plus the sleeves and style just screams Autumnal to me.

You’ll of noticed here that each outfit cost less than £50. So PrettyLittleThing can certainly transition your wardrobe into Autumn on a budget! If you have any plans where you need a dress you can check out my race day outfits collab with them here. What’s your favourite outfit or what do you have your eye on?

I was gifted the PLT clothing in return for a feature on my blog. As always, my opinions are 100% my own. #AD
