Avon Makeup Haul

It feels like a long time since ive last done a beauty haul. Something a little different today, an Avon haul. I’ve used Avon for years my mum would order off her friend and i would borrow her makeup when i was little, as i grew up i started buying my own and i think at one point i had all the ColorTrend collection, come on i bet all you young teen girls did too?!

Well a couple of weeks ago my friend become a representative and i thought i may as well have a little peak through their book. I did always enjoy getting their free gifts and deals and within the first few pages i found some items i liked so i could get the deal. I placed my order and a week later all this arrived. So i thought i would share with you all what i got and what are my first impressions!

IMG_6032I only needed to spend £10 to receive a gift set worth over £20. so from left to right i bought Avon Soft Musk Body Spray and Perfume 50ml (photo below)  for £5. The perfume is very sweet and very long lasting which is a must for me, i wore it for work and i could still smell it hours later, it has a really rich smell and smells expensive – such a bargain. I love my brushes and this blusher brush was only £4 to add to my growing collection. The Nail files i got free in the set. The Avon glow is a bronzer with pearls. This product i have used for years and i was running low so needed another box. I paid £5 for this and its usually £10.  Then below i bought two nail polishes, a gorgeous green colour (Sea Breeze) and metallic nail polish in Artic steel both £3.25 each.

IMG_6034The Big & Daring mascara was £7, from first impressions i love the arched lash brush and i cant wait to try it along with the Extra Lasting mascara (£5) that the brush is a lot thinner and is similar to the They’re Real mascara. I should review these soon. The Ultra Glazewear lipgloss in iced pink and the brown SuperShock Vivid eye shadow were also free in the gift sets. The liquid eye shadow i sampled and the colour is really shiny and has a bronzed look, i cant wait to try this on my eyes.

IMG_6035The two nail files i also got free in the gift set. Then i got the Gel finish Nail polish in a dark pink, Lipstick in Pout and Always on Point eyeliner free in the set too. I love the lipstick since it arrived, its long lasting and moisturizing on the lips. Last but not least, i bought Avon’s Perfect Eyebrow kit in soft brown for £3.50. Still need to try this, hoping its just as good as the Barry M version.

IMG_6036Overall i got 16 products for £39. Couldn’t imagine any other makeup brand that gives you this much for this price? I did get a lot of them free but they were worth at least £20 on their own. What do you think of my bargains?
