What’s In My Makeup Bag?

What's In My Makeup Bag? What's In My Makeup Bag?It’s time to dig out those mini samples, bronzers and bb creams for holiday! I thought I’d share with you all what beauty I’m taking with me on my hols. So What’s In My Makeup Bag?

Aside of essentials and necessities such as toiletries, there’s a few things that I can’t not take on holiday with me!

First, how can I apply makeup without any brushes? I’m taking my trusty Real Techniques Complexion Sponge to apply my foundation. Real Techniques Flat Contour brush and Buffing brush for my bronzing! Base Shadow brush for eyeshadow and Contour brush for highlighting!

For the base of my face I’m taking a mini Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Blur Primer that I’ve been dying to try! It smells and feels amazing! I’m taking two foundation type products away with me. As I’ll be building a tan on holiday, I’m taking a slightly darker foundation to usual: MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC40! For through the day I’ll be wearing Urban Decay‘s Bronzing Beauty Balm that’s a BB cream with tinted foundation and SPF 20. My swear by concealer has to be Seventeen‘s Phwoar paint – this is perfect at covering blemishes and spots that doesn’t crease.

For bronzing and highlighting I’ll be bagging Seventeen‘s Define and Contour kit as well as Benefit‘s Watts Up for a matte and dewy finish. A gorgeous golden blusher I’ll be using Bourjois Paris blush in Rose d’Or. For a lighter blush that’s almost like a highlighter – Makeup Revolution‘s Blushing Hearts in Peachy Pink kisses is perfect.

Eyes, I’m getting semi permanent lashes put on so I won’t be really needing mascara so I’m just packing my Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes for under lashes – just incase! Eyeliner, I’m taking Model Co blue eye pencil and Soap and Glory SuperCat liquid liner! For eyeshadow I’m taking Bobbi Brown‘s Shimmer Brick for light colours and Barry M eyeshadow palettes for night-time wear.

Can’t forget brows can I? I’m taking L’Oreal Brow Artist kit that comes with mini tweezers, brush as well as a gel and powder!

To narrow my lips down to just a few products was hard to say the least. I’m taking L’Oreal Julianne’s nude, The Body Shops red and Too Faced Color bomb lipsticks! Makeup Revolution‘s Lip Lava and a couple of New Look lip liners!

I’ve even packed mini Clarins makeup remover and Benefit They’re Real remover! I’ve got so many mini products and samples so I’m putting them to good use and using them all up so a lot of stuff in my makeup bag will only last me the week. Need a trip to duty-free? I think so.

Are any of these in your holiday make-up bag?
