Redken Pillow Proof

Redken Pillow Proof

A primer for your hair?! Redken have launched a Pillow Proof express treatment that gives your hair the ultimate protection against heat! Redken Pillow Proof Redken Pillow Proof

So when Redken contacted me a few weeks ago if I’d like to try some new products, I just couldn’t say no. The Pillow Proof Blow Dry Express Treatment Primer* came all packed up with some american sweets. Fair to say they didn’t last long but I loved the idea especially when I’ve never tried some of the goodies before.

Anyway enough about sweets, this award-winning cream primer works on thick or coarse hair that needs extra manageability. This primer is meant to help hair feel stronger, nourished, healthier and perfectly primed for any style.

For someone who prefers to dry their hair naturally, I wasn’t sure how this would benefit me, I only blow dry my hair if I have to! But luckily this primer can be used before any heat so I’ve been using it before straightening my hair as well.

The primer is really creamy and you only need a little to apply to all your hair and mines medium thickness and long. For the purpose of this review I have blow-dried my hair with this and you can definitely notice a smoother and shinier look. It actually made my hair look more styled and I didn’t feel the need to straighten my hair. Plus it only took me 10 mins to dry instead of usually 15?!

This time saving primer reduces blow dry time which is perfect for thick locks! Pillow Proof protects from heat up to 230˚so however you style your hair, you’re in safe hands with this beauty!

Overall I’ve enjoyed trying this Pillow Proof Blow Dry Primer especially when it’s just one hair product I’ve never tried before which made it that bit more interesting. I’ve definitely noticed less breakage with this treatment and its something I’d definitely use as a daily styling routine. For £17 I think its great for the price, it would certainly last me a few months.

Is this something you would use/ try?
