So a couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to be invited to a No7 blogger event at my local boots. I picked up a couple of items from their ‘Beautiful Skin’ range as well as a facial oil sample and a lift and luminate day cream for my mum. After trying these out in my skincare routine I thought I would share with you all how I got on with them!
No7 kindly enough gave us a sample of their new Youthful Replenishing Facial Oil (as well as an Essie Nail polish and two perfume samples). This oil is delicately made with natural oils and vitamins to keeps the skin soft, nourished and radiant. No matter the age, It’s meant to make your skin look and feel more radiant and youthful in just one week.
I used a drop of this with the overnight radiance boost cream (below) and I felt my skin didn’t look as dull on a morning. Even my dark circles didn’t seem as noticeable. I tried this with my foundation and I felt my face did seem more glowy. I think when this is used up I actually would buy the full product. The No7 staff said after people got samples, almost all of them came back and bought the full product!
The Overnight Radiant Boost has become my daily moisturizer on a night now. I admit I don’t do my skin care nowhere near as much as I should but after using this I’ve found that this one product works wonders overnight. This “overnight pick me up” is a hydrating serum that optimizes skin renewal by mildly exfoliating your skin so you wake up with fresh radiant skin. I never really thought of leaving a product on overnight, but I think this product does exactly what it says effortlessly!
Out of all the products I picked up, I was excited to try this the most!! I was intrigued by this as it’s described as “The spa facial in your own home”. The Hot Cloth Cleanser is the combination of a rich cleanser and exfoliator.
You apply the cleanser to your face, massaging it in the skin. Then the muslin cloth removes the dead skin cells by exfoliating in a circular motion leaving your skin soft and radiant. For me, I found this product to be like steaming your face, applying the cream then the cloth is used to steam your face, then exfoliating afterwards. I think this is perfect if you’re wanting to deep clean your face without being too harsh by scrubbing!
So I picked up this day cream for my mum! She wanted an anti-wrinkle cream and the woman recommended this Lift and Luminate Day Cream! She said it felt so silky and soft on her skin. It’s meant to give your skin a instant healthy glow and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles by lifting and firming your skin. She said her skin felt plump and had a luminous glow after she applied it. Since, she’s been using it as a moisturiser before foundation, didn’t feel sticky or heavy on the skin! Sounds good to me!
I love a good exfoliator, who doesn’t?! I’ve tried a fair few over the years and I think this one does the job, but in a more nourishing way. The Radiance Exfoliator is tailor made for normal/dry skin. Most exfoliators I’ve found are more of a scrub than anything else, whereas this one is a lot more creamy and moisturising than a scrub.. but that’s a good thing I assure you! Even in the picture you can see how creamy it looks. After the first use, it left my skin soft and smooth, rather than it feel grainy.
And finally we have the Deep Pore Purifer! I was so impressed with this, especially after the woman at No7 specifically recommended this as her favourite product from N07. This is a cleanser that targets pores on the nose, forehead and chin. The scrub tip gently exfoliates and unblocks pores with their specialised gel serum. It instantly tightens pores, dissolves excess oil and leaves your skin very clean! I found it worked really well on acne too, to scrub and clean, to prevent me getting spots – bonus!!
Have you tried any of their skin care range?
