FAKE Tattoos

Hello everyone! I’m super happy to tell you about my freebies from Fake Tattoos.

They are an online worldwide brand that create a huge range of different temporary art tattoos ranging from £3-£6. The choice is endless featuring quotes, animals and even nail art tattoos. What’s even better, you can even create your very own tattoo that’s inexpensive. The site contacted me last week and asked about me testing out some of their tattoos for free, and of course i agreed. The free delivery was really quick too!

I had no clue what they were going to send me so receiving the letter,  i was excited to see its contents! I was so happy when i seen the dream catcher tattoo, i had looked at this online and thought it was really pretty. The butterflies so are realistic too. And i’m a sucker for nail art so these cute bow, heart and crown designs will fit perfectly in my ever growing nail art collection.

If you’d like to look at these designs online here are the links.

Dream catcherDream Catcher £3.80.

Nail tattoos - Hearts & bow design Nail Art Design £3.80.

Butterfly pink & yellow Pretty butterflies £3.80.

So i decided to put the dream catcher on first. They are so easy to apply. Make sure the skin is clean and dry. Position the tattoo on the skin where you want it. Take the clear film off and apply the tattoo to the skin, so the paper back is facing forward. Use a damp cloth or baby wipe and wipe over the paper. Make sure the paper is a little wet and hold until you can feel it moving away. Peel back the paper and your tattoo should be on your skin! Simple as that. You’l be able to see in the photo that part of the dream catcher is missing on mine but i moved it away too early, nothing too noticeable. Heres a timeline from putting it on to now.

Day 1

Day 3

Day 5

As of Today 17th May, the tattoo is still on and a little bit more faded. Everyone’s skin is different and they say they last between 3 to 10 days. To remove simply add oil such as lotion to the tattoo and keep applying till it starts to peel off.

I am really happy with the look of the tattoo, i think this is a great idea if your wanting a tattoo as this is an example of what it would look like before making the big leap into getting permanent art to your body. I’ve had so many compliments on this one and it has actually tempted me into getting the tattoo made real – we shall see!
