We are half way through the year already. How crazy? I even received my first Christmas email the other day, what?! This month has seen me buy LOTS of new items; beauty and fashion. Especially now finishing my 2nd year of University, I’ve been shopping a lot more, I guess because I have a lot more time. It’s great being able to blog a lot more! I’ve said ‘lot’ three times there.. oops but it’s true my spending has been ridiculous especially with friends birthdays and more days out!
So first up we have a product I’ve used before! The Clearasil Refreshing Pads are a product I’ve loved and bought over and over but this month has seen me use it more in my day-to-day routine. With gorgeous bursts of raspberry and cranberry scents, the pads cleanse and freshen up my face when im taking my makeup off!
Now I love a good self tan product, but my gosh this little beauty is amazing! I think a few weeks ago I mentioned how good it was on twitter and it could possibly be my new favourite tanning product.
The Nip + Fab Tanning Gel is a clear gel that you simply apply all over your body. It dries and soaks into your skin and after a few hours you can start to see a tan forming. The first time I used this I thought with it being clear it may cause streaks and patches where I’ve missed – I was wrong. I put the tan on and went to bed, and woke up with a gorgeous natural tan! No smell, patches or streaks – just perfect. I’ve applied this tan 3x since and my first bottle is finished so I’ve purchased 3 more!
This is my first YesTo product! I’ve seen so much hype from bloggers of this new skincare range and after seeing some of their products in Tkmaxx, I picked these up. Wipe your way to a brighter future. YesTo Grapefruit Facial Wipes not only smell delicious but work great at wiping all your makeup and cleansing and exfoliating away those pesky spots with just one wipe. I dunno about you but sometimes I used quite a few wipes to get my makeup off, with these being quite big and thick it’s so easy to get it all off in a single wipe!
Eylure Pro-Brow Dye Kit has been a savour for me the last month or two. Since I’ve bought this, I’ve shaped and dyed my brows myself. This kit allows you dye your eyebrows so easy! I’ve done mine twice now and each application lasts weeks before you feel you need to do it again. This little box contains up to 12 applications so if you’re wanting to experiment on your own without it going wrong – recommend you try this!!
Since I purchased this LUSH mint Julips lip scrub, it’s always being applied to the lips! It smells and tastes so yummy. I’ve been using this to soften the lips before lipstick is applied – this makes your lipstick last longer I think especially when you’re wearing a matte lipstick!
The Porefessional by Benefit is a product I use now and then! it’s a product I’ve purchased a couple of times but always forget to apply it – if that makes sense? I’ll apply my foundation then realised I forgot to use that first, however lately for nights out I’ve been using this as a primer! I’ve noticed again how much better my makeup sets! My pores sometimes are so hard to cover but porefessional has helped me lots this month in hiding them!!
I received this Soap and Glory Glow Lotion in a giveaway I won a while ago. This product smells amazing and I’ve been using it as a body polish for my neck, arms and legs for nights out. The highlight/shimmer sparkles look so nice on the skin!
Urban Decay ‘Manic’ Lipstick is probably my favourite lipstick all year round. It’s a stunning high pigment lipstick with tones of purple and red! with the weather being a little off lately and more gloomy than sunshine I’ve opted more for this lipstick than pinks and nude summer colours!
Pure Colour by New Look lip liner pencils are amazing not only for the price but the quality too. These two shades are so pigmented and leave a glossy finish before applying lipstick. I picked up a fuchsia pink to match my Mac lipstick and a nude liner for when I’m going for more a natural colour with my L’Oreal picks. Truthfully I don’t own many liners so since I’ve bought these it’s encouraged me to wear liner more!
And finally I’ve been using my MAC Blush ombre in ‘ripe beach’ a lot more this month. It’s one of them gorgeous shades that work well for day-time or night-time makeup! I use the peach for highlight and the pinky/coral shade for blush, but even if you use them both together it looks lovely with some bronzer for a beach babe’ look!
Are any of these your fave lately?
