You know Christmas is only round the corner when Lush release their collection, and as always it doesn’t disappoint!
So of course on the release date I headed down to my local Lush store and picked up a few of my favourites. I could of easily bought them all, as expected they all smell amazing.
You’ll notice there’s a real citrus’y scent this year compared to spiced fragrances. I did think some smelt very similar to each other but will have a completely different result in bath tubs.
A few of my favourites were back this year such as the Snow Fairy Jelly Bomb and shower gel and the Shoot For the Stars Bath Bomb (which is my ultimate fave). So this time I decided to pick up the brand new edition – I’m sure you’ll spot a couple of new and exciting products, lets make a start!
No your eyes aren’t deceiving you.. That really is a Snow Fairy Body Spray! I’ve said for ages but finally the Lush gods have listened so you can smell head to toe in candyfloss and bubblegum anywhere and everywhere! It’s £20 for 200ml, which is a little pricey but if you compare other fragrances and body mists, its not bad to smell like a princess. I’ve not stopped using this since I’ve had it, you can spray your car or your home with this. It’s Limited Edition so be quick if you want to pick one up.
Another product I’m excited to get my hands on is the Sleepy Shower Gel. I absolutely love the body lotion of this, the lavender scent really does make you feel relaxed and a lot of people say it helps with insomnia. Can you imagine on a cold winter evening having a bath with this? Yes please! I got the 250ml bottle for £11.95.
I also picked up Cheery Christmas Bath bomb for £3.95. Its a little similar to the Snow Fairy scent but its more like sherbet sweets with the added blackcurrant. It smells really refreshing and its one of the cheapest out of the range! I also picked up a returning favourite which is the Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb for £4.95. This colour explosion creates amazing colours in the bath and smells like Twilight and the Comforter.
How could I not resist getting the Santa Bomb Bomb? It’s quite expensive at £9.95 but it would make a great gift for someone! As you can see its quite a large one so can be broken off into a few baths. It smells of strawberries and cream and is filled with cocoa butter so this will be an absolute delight. I think I’m going to keep this to use on Christmas Eve – so festive!
I nearly didn’t pick this up, just because I thought – can I really justify £20 on two bath bombs?! But when I got to the till I just grabbed it because its not every day you can get a Princess Bath Bomb and it looked too cute not to buy. This smells floral compared to the other bath bombs. They also do a Snowman Bomb bomb which I know I’ll end up buying.
