Confidence in your beauty sleep with It Cosmetics

Confidence in Your Beauty Sleep

A pillow cream that transforms skin overnight? Yes, please!

A couple of months ago It Cosmetics sent me their latest skincare release and it couldn’t have come at a better time if you ask me! This Confidence in Your Sleep Pillow Cream claims to restore and transform your skin overnight to help you wake up with more beautiful, younger-looking skin.

So for the past few weeks, I’ve added this cream to my nightly routine to give this a thorough test. Especially since I’ve had more time to pamper my skin with the UK lockdown. At first, I got a breakout like every other woman seemed to be having right? The lockdown started and suddenly my skin broke out with redness and spots. This only lasted a week or two and suddenly disappeared thanks to the glorious weather. The spots dried up straight away with the extra Vit D. Hence my glorious freckles in my photos below. Anyway, let’s discuss what this cream does.

 Key benefits:

  • Rest and Restore Technology works to visibly improve signs of aging skin
  • Memory Bounce Technology helps to prevent product transfer while locking in previously applied skincare
  • Suitable for all skin types with a non-comedogenic, hydrating formula
  • Infused with hyaluronic acid and adenosine, plus ceramides to help repair and restore the natural skin barrier.

First impressions of the Pillow Cream

Sounds great right? My initial thoughts of this cream are that it’s nicely packaged and looks very luxurious. The lid says this cream was developed with plastic surgeons with clinical results. So a facelift in a pot? When I first opened the lid the sudden burst of lavender was beautiful. I absolutely love this scent and truly believe it can help you sleep. So to smell this on your face, I instantly thought I’m going to sleep well tonight!

The consistency of this It Cosmetics cream is like a cooling gel. Its a little gooey but applies just like a normal moisturiser, but with a primer sort of feel to it. This is where the ‘memory bounce technology’ comes in. Even a pea-size amount goes such a long way. You only need to dip your finger in once to apply all over your face. They do say to apply it generously but you don’t really need to even though it feels lightweight.

When I woke up I noticed a difference in my skin after just day one. I looked fresh like I had a good sleep (I had) but it also left a nice dewy look to my skin too. I’d imagine if I took this on holiday, every morning my skin would look even better with a tan too.

Overall thoughts on this It Cosmetics cream

After a few weeks, I can honestly say my skin looks and feels lots better. This is my only night-time product at the moment and I love how smooth and hydrating my skin feels. I don’t use it every day as it suggests, maybe 1-2 times is a week is enough.

On a morning it gives me the perfect canvas to embrace my natural skin or even when I apply makeup, my skin is plump and again feels like I already have a primer on. My mum loves it too! I can completely understand the name chosen, you do feel confident in your morning skin and this cream certainly is as soft as a pillow!

I love the sound of this product. My skin has been so dry and I keep getting breakouts so I’ve been looking for something to give my skin an added boost.

Thanks for the review. I have heard of the brand but never tried any of their products. I like the idea of putting on a hard working cream like this at night. I also like the idea of a lavender fragrance. Lovely!
