Valentines Skincare Routine

IMG_8154

Like any night out, I always like to pamper myself with bath essentials and smellys so I feel nice when I go out. Valentines Day will be no different so I gathered 4 quick products to use when preparing for a date! From body butter to fragrance spray!

Whether in the shower or bath I use a lot of products like shower gel and body wash. I tend to go for soap and glory products but this Dove ‘go fresh’ body wash is extremely nourishing, the scent of lemon and pomegranate is apparent even after you’ve washed it off, sometimes I find shower gel scents either don’t stay on the skin or smell sickly but this leaves your skin lovely!

A good moisturizer or body butter is perfect for making your skin smell nice and soft! I try to moisturize after a bath or shower or especially when I wear self tan to stop it going flaky. For a gorgeous smell, I would opt for the Body shops Strawberry butter – the scent is very long-lasting!

I have so many fragrances and sprays to use before and while I’m out. It has to be a fragrance that is long-lasting so you don’t need to spray soo much on a date. The ‘Mist you madly’ fragrance body spray by Soap and Glory is a flirty floral spray that’s great to quickly spray over yourself, it’s also a handy size to keep in your bag! I’ve noticed the scent always stays in your clothes and hair.

For another sweet smell I absolutely love the Ted Baker Women perfume! It smells of parma violets I think and it’s not an over powering smell like some perfumes. I only paid £10 for this in the January sales and have worn it practically every day since! skincareWill you be using any of these products for your ‘pamper’ session?
