Jurlique recently contacted me on their top summer essential and cult product: Rosewater Balancing Mist. A year ago I had never used any kind of spray/mist on my face… Oh how I was missing out. The last few months I’ve been using makeup setting sprays and I’ve noticed such a difference in my makeup and my skin.
So it’s to no surprise I was excited to see how this stunning little product would do in my skin care routine.
“A daily hydrating mist featuring the relaxing scent of rose that restores and hydrates the complexion and is ideal for normal/combination skin types.”
This mist features Marshmallow of all products to prevent moisture loss to hydrate and soften skin. The Rose and Aloe Vera soothes and calms the skin while Grapefruit seed provides all the antioxidant protection you need.
As far as packaging goes, it comes in a 50ml (£18) frosted glass and in my opinion looks very sleek and luxurious – it looks really pretty on your dressing table or bathroom. However I kind of wish that it wasn’t made with glass as I’d of loved to have taken it on holiday with me but it could break and is quite heavy for a little bottle. Needless to say it’s whats inside that counts right?
Well, after the first application, the mist settled and dried really quick on my face. It didn’t feel oily but my face looked dewy and a better glow-y complexion straight away. I even took it to the test and used it as a makeup fixing spray and it was perfect! I’ll grab this for every night out now. I’d also recommend using it on your night-time skin care routine. A little spritz before bed works wonders too. And the smell? I’ll be honest I wasn’t sure what I’d think of the smell but it’s so floral and fresh. I’ve sprayed it on my body and you can smell it for a couple of hours after.
I can honestly say Jurlique’s Rosewater Balancing Mist has become an enjoyable addition to my ever growing skin care routine. After just a week of using the product I already can’t imagine going a day without it! It leaves my skin feeling really fresh and smelling really nice. What more do you need for summer?
