April you say?! By gosh it’ll be summer before you know it. But today I’m reminiscing products I’ve grew to love again and beauty that got released in March. So have a read why these are my favourites.
So most of you know, Lush have released so many amazing products in this month. Just when we got over their valentines collection, we had Mother’s Day and Easter to splurge out on. Me being one of them. I’ve still got a few products from all three collections but my favourite so far has got to be the Ladybird.
Ladybird bubble bar is quite possibly the cutest product they have created, and it smells so minty and fresh. I honestly don’t want to break it up due to its cuteness but I know it’ll be amazing in the bath.
The Easter collection I’ve loved using so far especially Bouncy Bunny. It smells of orange and its so lovely on the skin, and gain such a cute looking product.
La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo is a revolutionary product to be part of my skincare routine. A while back I had a stress breakout and I needed something to shift the little buggers. Well a blogger recommended I tried this and honestly I couldn’t believe the results even after one use. My spots weren’t as red and seemed to have dried up a little. Whenever I feel my skin needs it, I pop this on before bed and I can 100% say I’ve barely had ANY spots since I’ve used this. Seriously!
Urban Decay Naked Flushed is an all in one contour kit. I’d abandoned this for a while, due to trying so many different highlighters and bronzers but a few weeks back I discovered my love for it again. In the shade Native, the highlighter and bronzer have a sheer feel to the product and they feel so silky to apply to the skin. The blush is a real pop colour that needs only a tiny little application for a pinky cheek. This highlighter has golden tones to it which I’m loving at the moment.
MAC ‘Freshen Up’ Highlighting Powder is a beautiful blend of coral and neutral shades. This compact will flatter all skin tones and it just gives that subtle amount of illumination to the face. The coral shade acts like a blush whereas the two light shades can be powder or highlight. Its such a pretty powder to look at, and its been used a lot in my daily makeup routine.
A couple of weeks ago I got two of the NYX Lip Creams in Stockholm and Ibiza. Well today I’m sharing my love for the Ibiza shade. Its a gorgeous fuchsia pink and for the price, it just needs to be in every girls makeup bag. Not gonna lie I did buy it due to my love of the place but I just know the shade would suit me. It perfect on its own or over the top of a red or deep pink.
Lancome juicy shaker‘s got released a few weeks ago and I was so lucky to be sent a couple to try. I did a review on them here which I talk about how I loved the Freedom of Peach shade. Now this little cute cocktail of colour is the perfect lip product to add shine with a burst of a peachy tone. The more you shake, the more vibrant the colour is. I’m so excited to use this in the summer.
Benefit Gimme Brow is another product I’ve grew to love again, you know when you can’t put your finger on why you stopped using it? Well I bought myself a new one and I really like how its making my brows look. I fill my brows with a pencil and use this to add colour and to set them.
Soap and Glory Supercat Liner is the easier liner I’ve used for creating the perfect flick. The only liner I can use is felt tip and it gives an easy way to get that cat eye look. It goes over eyeshadow really well unlike crayons or gels. For a budget price this is my favourite over any high end liner.
And finally as its offically spring, its time for a cult classic: Bronzing rocks. Like brozne and pearls, Seventeen’s Instant glow feature three golden shades that you simply brush on for a shiny bronzed finish to your makeup. I like to dust these rocks over my neck and shoulders to give the appearance of a tan.
So there you have it. A pretty collection of beauty products that I’ve enjoyed using throughout March and most definitely over the next few months.
Are any of these your fave?
