Dr Organic Bioactive Skincare

Treat your skin to some organic luxury! Dr Organic Bioactive Skincare has really shaped my skin routine and even my self tan regime!Dr Organic Bioactive Skincare

First, I just have to say a thank you for the amount of amazing products Dr Organic sent me to try. The box was beautifully packaged with all of this! Not gonna lie, there was also shampoo and conditioner in this collection but I’d used it too quickly. I know, I should have taken the photos before using anything but I just couldn’t resist.

Anyway, Dr Organic (yep the clue is in the name) is an award-winning body care company that specialises in using organically grown ingredients. They use no harsh chemicals, no animal ingredients or anything genetically modified. Their products aren’t tested on animals and use a variety of raw ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Moroccan Argan oil and Coconut.

I was lucky enough to try a couple of ranges from their collections so lets see how I got on.

The first range I was excited to try is their brand new Moroccan Glow range. Now you all know I love self tan so with this one being packed with so many organic products, I had to see the difference.

With Argan oil and Aloe Vera, this seems such a nice moisturising product. The Moroccan Glow Self Tan Mousse* is clear when applied, which I was a little worried about. The tan gradually develops over 4-6 hours so it was interesting to see it appear. I’ve always used instant tan usually, so it was hard to know whether you’d missed anywhere before it was too late. Luckily, this tan developed quite nice, not too dark but noticeable enough you had it on. It’s definitely not a last-minute tan but if you’ve got a couple of days to prepare, then this certainly will give you that sunkissed glow.

My favourite has to be the Moroccan Glow Tan Extender Lotion* though! I’ve absolutely loved using it and it also featured in my June favourites (here). If you want to see a full review then check out that post but this basically is a dream lotion that prolongs your tan and blurs patchy areas. Such a clever idea if your like me and hate the process of removing tan, this keeps it looking nice for longer. This works with other tans as well such as lotions and sprays.

With my holidays coming up soon, a lot of these products will be useful for my toiletries, especially the Aloe Vera Wet Wipes*. I think these will be perfect as a sensitive face wipe when taking my makeup off, especially if I’m a little sunburn and my skins more delicate. The properties of Aloe Vera sooth the skin so these sound perfect.

Anything with the words day or night cream, me and my mum are sold! When I was unpacking these she immediately picked up these and I’m not gonna lie before I took blog photos, they were in her possession. So, from her words these two Organic Virgin Coconut / Moroccan Argan Oil Night & Day Creams* have been amazing! She’s noticed that glow on a morning and shes been using the day cream as a base. I’m more a night cream kinda gal so I noticed how smooth and soft my skin felt with this. I think organic ingredients on your skin make such a difference!

I’m looking forward to using the rest of the products over the summer especially the Rose Otto Skin Toner* and the Moroccan Argan Oil Liquid Gold*. An oil for hair, skin, nails and even lips – love multi-purpose products. Its been amazing to try so many 100% natural ingredients.
