June Favourites

june favourites Another monthly round up already! June has been such a good month for me and here are my current beauty and skincare favouritesjune favouritesjune favourites

So this month it has seen me get a graduate job, and now early July I’v celebrated my 21st and now knowing I’m graduating with first class honours. So yeah not a bad month at all eh?

Anyways, if you seen my high-end makeup haul you’ll notice I’ve been trying out a lot of luxury brands lately but that doesn’t mean I won’t try drugustore products. One product I’m absolutely buzzing with is the Sunkissed Sculpt and Glow. This not only looks like a dupe for CT Filmstar Bronze and Glow, apparently its just as good as! I picked this up for a couple of pounds in a discount shop and the bronze is a perfect matte and the highlighter is shimmery but very subtle. I’m not really sure where stocks this but seriously if you find it, grab it!

Another luxury bargain has to be Ted Baker’s Pink body spray. £3 for 50ml! This is perfect to keep in your clutch bag and it smells just like a floral perfume should. I love my designer perfumes but its a nightmare to carry them on the go, least with this it keeps you smelling fresh and sophisticated.

My Nars Radiant Creamy concealer in custard has been my favourite concealer this month. I’ve nearly used this up so I’m gonna grab another one of these from Space NK at the weekend. I know a lot of people have a love/hate relationship with this product but personally I love it. It doesn’t crease and it acts as a fab under eye brightener.

Bourjois Little Pot Blush in Santal is the perfect bronze glow. This is a mixture of a blush and bronze in one so I tend to use this on the apple of my cheeks rather than in the contour area. I love the smell of this product and it has such a lovely gold sheen to it.

I’ve had my Urban Decay Alice through the looking glass palette a while now and I can honestly say its my new go-to palette for night out makeup. The beautiful array of colours means I can do smokey eyes and even vibrant looks with ease. Yano when you just feel how did I manage to do my eye makeup before?! Yep this is it.

I love a good face mask, who doesn’t? Skin Republic sent me a few of their face mask sheets to try and honestly I couldn’t not mention them on this post. The CoQ10+ Caviar Face Mask* acts as a serum that helps skin elasticity as well as reduce redness for a youthful glow. This mask feels like a face wipe but you simply keep it on your face for about 20mins, you can reuse it too! I’ve always wanted to try these types of face treatments so I’ve loved trying them out.

Before apply this mask, I’ve been using my Pixi Glow Tonic. Another great product that seems to be in a lot of peoples skincare routine and rightly so! A couple of drops of this exfoliates and soothes my skin.

finally this month I’ve wore a lot of self tan and I’ll be doing a post of my favourites tans soon so keep a look out for that. Dr Organic let me try their Moroccan Glow Body Lotion* that acts as a tan extender. Its a light creamy lotion that you apply over existing tan to optimise it. So when your tans starting to fade and go blotchy, this gives you that healthy glow again. It looks good on its own too and smells amazing with all the natural oils.

  1. Ugh I’ve been trying to avoid buying the NARS concealer but I think I’m gonna have to bite the bullet and buy it, it sounds incredible! Same goes with the Pixi Glow Tonic! Your post has just cost me a lot of money hahaha 🙂
