I’m always on the look out for the best Contour and Brow kits! So when Covershoot Cosmetics got in touch, I had to see what they were all about!
So for the past couple of weeks I’ve been trying out these two kits! Covershoot Cosmetics got in touch and mentioned their new Beauty Blogger Box and of course I had to see what they were about. I love trying out new brands and see their input on the beauty market.
The products arrived all beautifully packed with individual wrapping. I was sold already! So the Beauty Blogger Box included these two kits, two eyeshadow palettes and a nail varnish remover pot.
The Contouring* and Eyebrow Kit* were definitely the two products I was most excited to try! I love the matte finish and their so light for carrying around. They give you a step-by-step too which is always helpful. You get a good amount of product in both kits a well I thought. Not gonna lie the shades on the contouring kit scared me a little as they looked too dark but I was completely wrong.
I am obsessed with contouring! I practically do it every time I apply makeup so you can definitely say its part of my daily makeup routine. Personally, I like both cream and powder so I was intrigued to see how the creams would pay off.
From left to right we have Highlight, Bronze and Contour.
As you can see, their not as dark as they look in the packaging. I was worried the contour shade would be too dark but I like all three! Sometimes creams can feel quite oily and well, make your makeup slip or not feel as set but these definitely didn’t do that. I applied highlight and contour in the right places, applied my foundation and you could still kind of see the creams. I think I can see myself using the highlight the most out of this kit, its great at hiding the dark circles and I could see it working as a concealer too. Overall I’m pretty impressed with the kit, its long-lasting and does exactly what it says!
So the eyebrow kit comes with a primer and three shades! Again, the shades looked darker in the pot but as you can see in the swatch, they are all quite light shades.
Left to right we have Black, Brown and Beige.
Even the black looks more of a dark brown. I tried the brown shade first and it seemed the perfect fit. To be honest all three shades worked okay on my brows. I’m a medium brown so they all mixed in quite well really. This kit is definitely more for medium shades I think. Sometimes I used the primer first or after I applied the colour and it did set them quite well. The primer soon blends into your brows and even the little tweezers do a good job of tidying them up. Another great kit, its a little big I think to carry round for just brows but for home its perfect.
The brush set also looks really good too, I’ll have to try them when they become available. You can find the Contour and Eyebrow Kit in savers. Two new kits that will definitely be put into good use, thank you Covershoot Cosmetics for letting me try your brand!
