A cloth that claims to remove all traces of makeup with just water? Lets see shall we…
A couple of weeks ago the lovely guys at Qwerkity got in touch and asked me if I’d like to try the Makeup Eraser. After seeing this circling in the blogosphere and wondering if it actually works, I’ve put it to the test.
Like I say a cloth that takes away even waterproof mascara – you can imagine I was sceptical. Last year I nearly bought one of these but again its a product where you just think surely this can’t work?
Well I’m astonished to tell you.. It does! I’ve used the Makeup Eraser four times now and it took all traces of my makeup. I’ve been using hot water and even the toughest of mascaras, this cloth cleans it all away. I’m not exactly sure how but I’m amazed. It’s got to be something to do with the fibres latching onto the oils in makeup but this is such an innovative product.
Just think of all the money you can save on makeup remover?! There was times I was tempted to add facial soap or a cleanser but truthfully it’s not needed. With the exfoliate side, I also liked using this as a tan remover too. The fibres help scrub even the toughest of tans – bonus!
I’m not sure the Makeup Eraser would replace my removers and cleansers, but when showering this is so handy so use with less mess involved. It can be used up to 1000 times so its a great investment. It’s definitely getting packed for Ibiza too!
Is this something you would try?
