July was an amazing month! Jetting off to Ibiza, my birthday and getting shortlisted for a a blogging award! So with another jam-packed month here’s some favourites I’ve loved using!
Going on holiday also means Duty Free! There wasn’t anything that stood out in the shops but on our Jet2 plane, they were offering an extra 20% off on top of tax free! So I picked up this stunning new perfume from Michael Kors. Wonderlust is a great mix of flora with a spiced undertone. It’s different to any of the other MK perfumes, there usually more fruity but this is elegant and the ombre bottle sold it for me. Of course I’ve worn it pretty much everyday since!
I also bought Lancaster‘s Tan Maximiser. This acts as a nourishing after sun with build in tan enhancer. I tan quite easily but I could see the results when I put this on, a subtle glow. It also smells of palma violets – yum!
To keep my skin dewy and hydrated, I’m obsessed with SkinChemist’s Rose Quartz Illuminating Moisturiser. The packaging of this is stunning, I also love the fact the serum is bright pink too! I’ve been using this as a primer and honestly I’m super impressed, I can feel how firmer my skin feels and my mum loves it too. Bonus that it creates a luminous glow too! With coconut oil and other natural extracts I’d 100% recommend this if your skin needs a detox!
Benefit Brightening Concealer has been a fave of mine this month too. In my recent review of the new Boi-ing concealers (here) I said how much I liked this, it looks like a general concealer but with the colour correcting formula, I’ve seen amazing results!
Now it’s officially Summer – I wish the weather knew this, I’ve finally started using Kylie Cosmetics Lip kit in Valentine. The clues in the name, I’ve had this since February but the colour is soo bright I was waiting for summer to use it. What a shade! It’s beautiful, if you love a bright fuchsia – this is perfect paired with a floral outfit.
Another brow kit I’ve grown to love again is L’Oreal’s Brow Artist Kit. With a powder and gel, this handy little kit has everyone – the smallest tweezers as well! I’ve used this on and off for about three years now but recently I bought another with it being on offer and well, I’m hooked again. I used the powder along with my brow gel and I get perfect brows each time.
Finally one of my current faves has to be Lancome Monsieur Big. I’ve worn this for all my nights out in July and on holiday. It creates such an amazing false lash effect, while thickening and curling my lashes so easily. Hands down the best one yet from Lancome! For a full review you can check out my post here.
