Sothys Seasonal Beauty

Sothys seasonal beautyEnhance your beauty this Christmas with Sothys Seasonal collection!

Sothys seasonal beautyThis limited edition makeup set is the perfect staple to your winter makeup or a special gift to a loved one. Sothys’ is a brand I discovered only a couple of months ago. You may have noticed I featured their Christmas Advent Calendar (here) and it was lovely of them to send me the beauty collection to try to.

So like any new brand, I’ve been using these items for the last couple of weeks before reviewing them, yes I always take photos before I use them (so they look pretty). And you know what, I’m really impressed. Considering Sothys are known for their luxury skincare spa products it’s nice to see the quality is still there for the beauty items.

I mean the packaging itself looks so luxurious, especially with the fuchsia velvet sleeves for the lipsticks – I love the thought in that. Black and white packaging always channels a chanel vibe for me so the look of these are definitely something I’d pick up. The imprint on the lipsticks make these look the part too.

Rouge mat Sothys – Velvet Effect Lipstick

This lipstick duo are two perfect shades for winter. You have the Rose pink for daywear and the deep red for night-time. I absolutely love a matte lipstick but the formula of these are amazing. The matte effect includes a velvet formula so these feel comfortable in the cold weather. They don’t dry out the lips like most matte lipsticks do.

Sothys describe their lipstick collection as a second-skin effect for a bold, elegant and sophisticated look. I couldn’t agree more! I think these are universal shades for any skintone but I especially love the Rose Leptic shade, it’s so pretty when you want something in between a nude and a bright pink lip.

Vernis Sothys – Nail Lacquer

For colour co-ordination Sothys have also included the Rouge Des Arts shade as a Christmas nail polish. I’m yet to try this, I’m currently waiting to get my Christmas acrylics but who doesn’t love a red nail varnish?

Sothys seasonal beautyBlush Sothys – Cream Blush

This is such a pretty shade! Voile De rose has an innovative cream formula that transforms into a powder. I love multi-way products like this. At first I didn’t really notice the powder formula but I did notice how easily it blended into my foundation. Sothys describe their blush as a winter warmer that brightens your complexion for a guaranteed healthy glow. I’m looking forward to wearing this in the summer, It’ll look lovely with a tan.

Duo smoky eyes – Eye contour & Smoky eye pencil

I’d normally go for an eyeshadow powder than a crayon pencil but these are perfect for a quick eye look on the go. If you want something elegant and quick I’d go for these. I was given Feutrine Prune, a deep plum colour and Gris Zinc for a metallic silver effect. The lovely lady behind Sothys recommended me the plum with me having hazel eyes and I can totally see what she means. I definitely need to do my eye makeup more this colour. Both crayons feature iridescent shimmer so perfect for the festive season.

There you have it, Sothys Seasonal collection is beautiful, the packaging is luxurious and the quality and pigmentation is amazing. Like I say for a brand that focuses on skincare it’s great they can bring out a collection like this. For prices and to buy the products for yourself or as a Christmas present, you can here.

Would you try this brand?
