Add some extra spice this Summer with Revolution‘s latest release!
This sizzling new palette has a beautiful array of neutral and warm tone colours that’ll compliment any summer outfit. I bought this a couple of weeks ago ready for my Ibiza holiday and the palette itself is that stunning not to mention.
But first, have you been missing my beauty reviews? It feels like ages since I’ve written one – you’ve probably noticed I’ve done a lot of lifestyle recently but I’m back loving what I do. I haven’t bought makeup for so long but the Revolution Soph X Extra Spice palette had to be added to my collection. For £10 this is an absolute steal with 18 ultra eyeshadows with metallic, matte and velvet finishes.
So here’s my first impressions…
The shade that drew me in was the metallic silver otherwise known as ‘infinity’. I instantly thought that would make a gorgeous base for glitter jewels for festivals and holiday. I also love the deep pinks across the middle and that Romance shade is even prettier in person.
I’ve tried a few of Revolution’s eyeshadows before and they’ve always had a great payoff considering the price. I’m usually an Urban Decay kinda gal when it comes to eyeshadows but this definitely competes with the Naked palettes.
The photos definitely don’t show the shades justice. The pigment is really good in person especially the shimmery shades. How gorgeous is the Dreams shade? Could definitely make a nice highlighter.
I’m in love with that Romance shade. It reminds me of something similar in the Naked Heat palette. You can make SO MANY looks out of this palette but bright vibrant pinks to warm nudes and rose golds. It’s definitely everything I love in a palette.
Overall? I love this palette. I haven’t got around to trying all of the shades yet but I’ll be certainly be putting a few to the test on my summer holidays next month. Soph X has brought out another fab collection – I want to try her lipsticks next.
Have you tried Revolution?
