My 5 Favourite Bath Bombs From Lush Cosmetics

Lush cosmetic bath bombs

My go-to bath products from Lush Cosmetics, for a perfect pamper!

Hi everyone it’s my first blog post of 2021 and what a year it’s turning out to be already (enough said). So as my readers know, I love a good bubble bath and better still a Lush bath!

After receiving some Lush goodies for Christmas, it got me thinking how much I love the brand. I bought my first Lush product about 6 years ago and I was instantly addicted. I’m sure most will agree!

There really is nothing better than a pamper and treating yourself to a colourful bubble bath of sweet aromas.

So today’s post I’m talking about my favourite bath bombs that I’ve grew to love over the years, some new and some that I buy every year.

Plus self care is more important than ever so a Lush bath is my 30 minutes of relaxation and gets me ready for a better nights sleep. If you fancy indulging in a new bath bomb or two, read on…

Lush intergalactic bath bomb

Sweet & Fragrant bath bombs

Intergalactic

I have to start with my all-time favourite and that has to be Intergalactic. This blue galaxy bath bomb is a must buy. It’s everything you want from a bath bomb. It smells incredible with citrusy, cedarwood and peppermint notes.

The bath experience consists of a blue rainbow colour explosion with popping candy and gold glitter. The scent is very strong so you’ll expect all upstairs to smell of this and your skin too!

The speckles of glitter on your skin is a nice touch too. I like using this before a night out so my skin feels amazing and sparkly. Oh how I miss a night out!

Snow Fairy

Next up is Lush’s most cult product: Snow Fairy. This is my favourite range from Lush by far. The bubblegum/ candy floss scent reminds me of Christmas every year.

I have everything from this range, from their body conditioner (review here) to shower gel and body spray. They tend to change the look of the bath bombs often but I really like the look of 2020’s release. I haven’t used one yet (I obviously saved it for this post).

Don’t worry it’ll be in a bath soon enough filled with candy aroma and lots of glitter!

Fruity and floral Bath Bombs

Twilight

A bath bomb that I’ve been purchasing for years is Twilight. This lavender-scented bath bomb has a very soothing aroma and is perfect on dreary days where you just want to unwind and get a restful night’s sleep. This is part of the Sleepy range (review here) which I also love. I have the body spray in this too so if you love lavender, definitely give this one a go.

As the bath bomb enters the water the colors turn from pink to purple which acts as day to night which is so clever! Plus the bath bomb has a sprinkle of shimmer which is a nice surprise.

Peachy

Now onto the fruity bath bombs and Peachy is the one! I love obviously the quirky look of this bath bomb. It creates a pretty orange sunset colour bath and smells so sweet. This was a valentines release that people obviously loved so kept returning.

The Comforter

As the name suggest The Comforter is another scent explosion. I originally purchased The Comforter as a bubble bar and then a couple of years later they release a bath bomb version. I love both but this bath bomb is just bursting with blackcurrant and bergamot oils so another fruity bath bomb. As you can imagine from the colour, this creates a beautiful bright pink bath that makes you feel lovely and fresh.

Lush bath bombs

So there you have it, that’s my top 5 all-time favourite Lush bath bombs! As you can imagine I could have easily included more, especially from their Christmas collection. I’ve also shared my two favourite shower gels below which I mentioned. So if you want to smell sweet then Snow Fairy is the one. If you want sweet dreams, then Sleepy is perfect.

  13. Emily Smith says:

My favourite is Twilight. I once made mistake of using this bath bomb just before bed and after having a little soak thought I’d use a salt scrub. It was the first time I’d used this particular bath bomb. Got out of the bath, relaxed with lovely soft skin and went straight to bed. The following morning I woke up with glitter stuck all over my body and the bed was covered. I didn’t know the bath bomb had glitter in it and it stuck to the oils from the salt scrub.

  14. These look gorgeous, I love Lush!
