Goodbye 2014, Hello 2015!

What a whirlwind of a year! I cannot believe 2014 is over already! I’m going to be all sentimental here, and quickly highlight what a great year it’s been.

University has been really fun this year, I finished my first year with a really high 2:1, almost a 1st! I’ve carried on the determination in year 2 which im currently still doing, my first main assignment features my pride and joy blog! I was so chuffed that they marked this little hobby of mine a high first! 78% to be exact, I’m proud that my blog is doing so well and even my lecturers can see this.

I was lucky enough to go on two holidays this year; you’ve probably seen me talk enough about Disneyland and Ibiza but they both really were special. I had two days in Disneyland Paris and a whole week in Ibiza – they were both amazing in their own ways.

Obviously I’ve had my ups and downs this year like anyone, but it’s definitely been a lot more positives than negatives this year and I’m so grateful.

So what plans do I have for 2015?

I’m hoping to complete my second year University with a first, so far so good so I hope it’s possible. For holidays I think I’ll probably end up going to Ibiza again for the third time but I really fancy somewhere totally different. My aim is to go to New York, I’m trying to save up now — and see who wants to come with me haha.

And in general, I’m going to say to myself to not dwell on things, im such a worrier and my paranoia just takes over so I definitely need to kick out of that habit and just focus on being happy. Last year I wasn’t really IN, and I hope this year is the same – I just love planning and doing things with my friends.

Any resolutions?

I’m going to make one ‘coz who sticks to it? I try to go to the gym as much as possible as it is so this year I just aim on being how I am now. I’ve decided that every time something good happens, I’m going to write it down and put it in  jar. I’ve seen this on instagram and I think it’s a great idea to look back on all the good things at the end of the year.

So I hope you all entered the new year in good spirits and had a fab night last night!

  1. Its incredible that you can incorporate your blog into your uni work. Maybe if I could do this it’d make me post more frequently and regularly. I’d love to visit Disneyland and Ibiza! I think Ibiza is on the agenda for my friends and I in a couple of years when we’ve had time to save as I’ve heard its expensive?

I’m a total worrier just like you. I considered making ‘Worry Less’ a new years resolution but honestly its so ingrained in me that I think I’d inevitably fail. I do try to see the best in situations but more often than not its in other peoples’ situations, not my own. Definitely something to work on. Practice what you preach and all that.

Lovely chatting to you on the twitter chat tonight! Now following.
