Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you all had a good one. After a relaxing day, I have a yearly tradition to hit the sales on boxing day. Yes, I’m one of those people who get up early and queue outside the door for it to open. I think for the third year in a row, I normally go to the shops around 8am.

So this year I visited River Island. Inside i bought  a pair of jeans, a jumper, a dress and these two items above. My mum found this gorgeous green satchel shoulder bag hidden in the pile of bags and purses. At half price there was so reason not too, I also have this bag in black and it’s perfect for nights out and a ‘holiday’ bag. The second item is this gorgeous bubble gum pink jumper. Originally £26, it was only £15 in the sale. Again, I also have this jumper in blue and it fits well in the right places, longer at the bag and 3/4 sleeve – perfect for spring!

I then headed to Outfit which stocks clothing from Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins ect. If I’m being honest I wasn’t impressed with Topshop or Miss Selfridge sale this year, nothing stood out to me so I ended up getting these white heeled sandals. I’ve been after them for such a while and I’m so glad I finally got a pair for £20 instead of £40.

By this point it was only about 9am… I headed over to Boots where, I have to say had been totally ransacked! There was hardly any soap and glory sets left. I wasn’t really after any perfume but I come across the Yves Saint Laurent Opium ‘Dare to be’ set for only £25. I thought that was amazing considering you got a mini red lipstick and full size nail varnish, the contents is easily around £60. And finally I managed to grab another Ted Baker makeup set. This features a bronzer, highlighter, brush and powder. It’s such a great set I bought it for £16 a couple of months ago and even at that price it was worth it but I managed to get it for £8.

I did buy a couple more bits but these have to be the best bargains I managed to pick up! Whatever you did boxing day, I hope you had a great day. Did you go sales shopping too?

Ah sales….luckily I’m still ‘lost’ in the festive mood to check what’s going on and start spending again…my wallet hopes the moods lasts some more time too…
