Last week in York, I stumbled upon the cutest soap shop ever! The Yorkshire Soap Co. The shop window was filled with gorgeous gateau’s and cupcakes of soap! Inside lay a long dining table filled with slices of soap in every flavour imaginable! Chocolate Orange, Cherry Bakewell and strawberry to name a few! Me and my mum must have spent what seemed like forever smelling them all, and they smelt so delicious.
I could not leave the shop empty-handed! I picked up a Raspberry Easter Bunny Soap (£6) the Ugly Duckling Bath bomb (£2.50) and in the little box? A gorgeous slice of Lemon Zest Soap (£5). I tried to stick with the Easter feeling!
How scrummy does this look? It’s crazy that it’s not cake! I cannot wait to try this – it’s too delicate to use. It even has glitter on the icing, even the rose is fragranced. I went for the zesty lemon that I think will leave your skin so fresh and clean! If I went back which i hope is very soon I’d definitely try the Cherry Bakewell, that was a close second.
This adorable bunny is so cute to unwrap! It’s a lovely smell of raspberry, not sour or too sweet. It is also covered in glitter so will feel lovely on the skin. It’s a good size soap too so I think for £6 – it is so reasonable and will last so long!! How this is an ugly duckling I don’t know – I think its cute! This smells Really fresh too like a floral perfume. For £2.50 it was a reasonably sized bath bomb that you could probably get two baths out of. Again, there was plenty of bath bombs to choose from that looked like doughnuts, cupcakes and even a hand grenade – so creative.
If your ever in the beautiful city of York, I recommend popping in this shop and picking up a slice of cake.. oh I mean soap!
