I think I say this every favourites posts but I cannot believe how quick this year is going, we are in may now.. MAY?! It’ll be winter again before we know it *sighs*. Anyway, April saw me become rich again with my last loan of year 2 so I spent a lot more on makeup and beauty as you can see in my recent hauls!! So let’s see what I’ve been loving lately…Benefit Watt’s Up is the bronzed highlight you need in your makeup bag. The universal shade works so well for most if not all skin tones. I bought this last year and there’s still lots left. This month though I’ve tried to use it a lot more in my makeup routine to highlight my cheeks.
Sleek Precious Metals Highlighting palette is a small palette that contains three creams and one powder! Again, this is the same consistency as the watt’s up highlighter at just half the price. The first 3 shades are used for the highlighting areas and the powder is used as a bronzer for the cheeks. I guess this month I’ve been on the shimmery side with these two highlighters but they work so well with a natural tan that I am adapting!!
Maybelline BrowDrama is a product I’ve loved this month. For a quick product for your brows this is perfect! It’s basically a mascara for your eyebrows, in shade medium and fits in well with my brow colour. I bought this the beginning of april and used it nearly everyday since, it sets the brows as well as tinting them!
W7 In The Nude eyeshadow palette contains 12 shades of matte pinks, shimmer pinks right up to mink browns and purples. Lot’s of bloggers say it’s an exact dupe of the Naked 3 palette! Personally, I love the shimmer shades than the mattes out of this palette, I’ve been using it for all my nights out lately for that soft smoky eye look.
Max Factor Star Dust Pink is a luxurious matte lipstick that smells delicious as well as looking gorgeous on the lips!I’ve used this lots this month for that subtle nude pink. This feels really nourishing on, it kind of feels like a lip balm which is great for a lipstick!
L’Oreal False Lash Superstar Mascara has two steps, step one coats the lashes with a nourishing formula and step two thickens and lengthens your lashes. This two-step mascara I’ve been loving this month!! Even if you don’t use step one my lashes still look long and thick! I love L’Oreal mascara’s and this could be my new favourite.
Jica Lash is a product I’ve neglected until recently, I found it in my makeup stash and began using it again after my mascara. This is a little pot of fibre lashes that you put on after your mascara to make your lashes look longer and even more thicker. I’ve been using it a lot more since I found it again and my lashes look noticeably bigger and better – it’s a fab product that’s under-rated!
Colab Rio Dry Shampoo is a new product for me, I love dry shampoo’s and usually always go for batiste, but after seeing the hype of Colab and the fact they were on sale I thought I’d try two out. This smells so tropical and fresh! The formula dries really quick and the shampoo doesn’t leave any residue like others do – I’d definitely recommend it.
Are any of these your faves lately?
