The winter skincare saviour from Vichy! Their Quenching Mineral Mask is perfect for the colder weather…
As the cold sets in, this time of year I always step up my game when it comes to skincare. A couple of weeks ago Vichy got in touch and asked me if I would like to try one of their face masks.
This is Vichy’s first range of face mask so of course I had to give them a go. I looked into all three masks and the Quenching Mineral Mask* definitely sounded the best for my skin. The masks also come in Pore Purifying Clay and Double Glow Peel.
The Quenching Mineral Mask definitely looked the most intriguing out of the three. I’ve never used a gel mask before so this was something new to experiment with. Enriched with Vitamin B3 and Glycerin, you can feel the cooling effect almost immediately. Glycerin provides an instant injection of moisture whereas the Vitamin B3 helps your complexion.
It tingles but you can feel it working its magic.
This mask aims to provide instant hydration for uncomfortable or sensitive skin. The good thing about this mask is it sets in pretty quickly, you don’t have to rinse it off like most masks. Vichy’s mineralizing Thermal Water soothes your complexion and reveals a smooth texture afterwards. I couldn’t believe how soft my skin was after the first use!
The scent is so fresh too, which I love in a mask. A perfect infusion of jasmine water, bamboo and green tea it’s definitely like having a spa treatment at home – under 10 minutes too.
I do normally go for face masks that set and reveal your pores but this gel consistency I really liked. It’s so easy to smooth over the skin and I think in this weather, we need that added hydration to keep our complexion bright. I definitely recommend keeping this in the fridge for added freshness and if you love that cooling effect, you’ll love this!
I can see the Quenching Mineral mask being perfect on holiday too to calm inflammation and soothe any sunburn. I really enjoyed trying this new product from Vichy and it’s made me definitely seek out what the other two masks are like.
Is this something you would try?
