There’s no denying how much I love Too Faced products so when I seen these beauty’s on offer, I couldn’t resist! Read on to see how I got them so cheap…
A couple of weeks ago when I was on a day trip to Edinburgh I stumbled upon a Tkmaxx. My readers know the amount of bargains I’ve found in this shop and to no surprise I found some Too Faced. Yay! This American brand is killing it right now with their beautiful packaging and variety of products so to find these three items at a discount, it was a dream.
I think most of my Too Faced purchases have been from this shop because I prefer buying them cheaper. I mean personally its worth the prices but who doesn’t love saving money?
So the Cat Eyes eyeshadow palette was £12.99 with a RRP of £25-35 (depending of stockists) then the Love eyeshadow palette was £14.99 with a RRP of £39. The Selfie Powders was £12.99 with a RRP of £32. That’s a saving of around £60!
Incredible right? £41 for three palettes filled with amazing shades with step by step guides and an eyeliner.
In the Cat Eyes palette you get 9 eyeshadows for day-to-night looks. Personally the three shades on the left, especially kitten could be used as highlighters. The Tiger’s eye and Jungle Love and beautiful in person. Filled with iridescent shimmer you can imagine how great they look on. If you’re not used to bright shades but want to experiment, this is a good palette to start with, the Pussy Cat and Kitty Glitter shades will look lovely this summer to compliment your outfit! Then we have the Selfie Powders. These are kind of like setting powders, the idea is you put these on to create well amazing selfies. So if you want brightening you’d pick Sunrise and if you want a more cool tone you’d pick Moon River. Because I love a good bronzer, I’ve been using the totally Toasted so far, paired with my highlighter and blush. They apply quite translucent actually which I was surprised by, but thats a good thing to keep it subtle on top of your base. The packaging is so cute for this with the dog portraits, it’s basically your saviour in creating effortless photos with the need of no editing! My fave products of the three I have to say. The Love palette is so beautiful in person with 15 eyeshadows, very generous in an eyeshadow palette. It has a mixture of shimmer and matte shades that are creamy just like their chocolate palettes. Some are quite glittery such as the gold shade. On the top row you can see how their like a pinky / pearl finish and the top right shade is a stunning highlighter. I’ve used this palette a couple of times now and its an all-rounder for rose golds and smoky eye looks. I can’t believe this was only £15! Such amazing value especially with the black eyeliner too.
The shades above are swatched dry but Too Faced eyeshadows come out soo much more pigmented wet. Apply setting spray to your brush and the results are insane. I would honestly say Too Faced is one of my favourite eyeshadow brands, they have such a good variety and they are super long-lasting too.
Make sure you check out your local Tkmaxx or next time you see one because trust me there’s lots of hidden gems. That day I also found Mac, Nars, Makeup Forever and lots more. I’m so glad I picked these Too Faced beauty’s and it’s just made me love the brand even more!
Have you tried any of these?
