Heading to a festival this year? Here’s what I wore for Parklife and what a weekend it was!
It’s been so long since I last did an outfit of the day on here! After a lot of requests from my readers, I decided to show you all what I wore for Parklife and what I got up to.
I’d literally been waiting months for this weekend to arrive, after seeing the line up and paying for the VIP tickets you can imagine how excited I was!
I’ve never been to a festival before, I know right? So I had no idea what to expect, I mean luckily my friends who I went with went last year so I had a rough idea of what the day would be like.
I don’t know about you but I LOVE festival hair and makeup looks. It’s an excuse to wear lots of glitter and dye your hair crazy colours. When searching for ideas and hairstyles the ‘space bun‘ looked such a cool idea. I wanted something easy to do but would also last all day – challenged accepted.
The buns and plaits lasted all day and the glitter too! I wore a mixture of red and gold glitter to add sparkle and completed the look with a statement red lip and red and gold eyeshadow – to match my wellies of course!
I was so happy to see lots of people wearing glitter and jewels, they really go all out for this festival! The bonus is you stay in a hotel not camp it…
So outfit wise, I had no idea what to wear at first. I went from dresses to denim shorts but in the end I opted for this stunning white lace playsuit from Love Triangle.
I know what your thinking, white with all that mud?! It actually wasn’t too bad and washed out straight away too. I felt so comfortable though so that’s the main thing.
I’ve had these red crocodile print wellies for years but its all about using what you’ve got! I think red and white go really nice together and I also wore a denim jacket and parka for when it rained, we were so lucky with the weather!
So who did I see? I actually couldn’t believe how big the place was, we struggled to find stages but I seen three acts I love: George Ezra, Two Door Cinema Club and The 1975.
Parklife was such a fun-filled day and I actually can’t wait to go next year. I hope this ootd post give you some ideas of how to style your hair or thinking of wearing a playsuit.
Have you been to Parklife? Would you?
