Benefit Candy Coated Countdown

If you have been on my blog recently, you will have noticed I have been posting what I’ve got in the Beauty Calendar every week! Now it’s over already I thought I would do a quick over view of what I got! IMG_7404 IMG_7405 IMG_7406 benefit advent calendarWhen I look at it all together it seems quite a lot! It’s just a shame they were only mini samples. Some are better than others, I thought some of the products you’d be lucky to get two uses out of them! I think these are perfect for travelling thought, I’d probably keep them for weekends away ect. A round-up of what I got:

  • 3 Lip glosses
  • 2 Mascaras
  • 3 Primers
  • 3 Highlighters
  • 2 Hair ties
  • Doodle Pad
  • Sticky Notes
  • Hair bobble
  • Paper clips
  • 3 cheek and lip tints
  • 2 concealers
  • 2 Skincare products

I paid £60 for this Calendar and apparently the stuff inside is worth around £116. It was exciting open this calendar everyday but I’m not sure if I’d re-buy one next year, I may look elsewhere!

What are your thoughts on this years Benefit Calendar?

I have been so disappointed with this calendar! The samples are really teeny and the notepad and hair clips and stuff are just cheap rubbish from China. I got the Liberty’s calendar too – admittedly it was £90 more but you get so much more for your money!! Also the Benefit calendar was impossible to open without ripping the doors, I don’t think I’ll be getting one next year. Hugely disappointing.

I totally agree with you! The non beauty products are shocking. I can imagine but even for £60 you expect good things.. Thats true i ripped all of mine. No me neither x

You got some really great products but I hate the filler, non-beauty items. They could have easily given you makeup samples every day for the price you paid.

I totally agree, the beauty products are great but why did they put in ‘random’ items, the quality of them arent great. Exactly for £60 you expect a lot more 🙂

Let me know your thoughts!
