A Haul of Hauls

A haul of haulsHey everyone! I guess you could say I’ve splurged on a few items this week… A haul of hauls of lush cosmetics, w7, benefit, urban decay and measurable difference makeup. I just had to share with you all what I picked up in my latest retail therapy!

a haul of hauls

Benefit’s Fake Up  (£18.50) is the perfect hydrating cover up! I’ve only ever had this in mini versions so after using all them up, I knew I had to get the full version! It’s a crease-control concealer to hide your dark circles and smooth those fine lines for a natural look. With the oily/concealer formula I find it more of a go-to product for when I have a breakout, this light coverage covers the spots but doesn’t clog my pores up! Win Win.

W7 The Honey Queen Blusher (£2.99) is probably up there with my top fave blushers. These two must be at least my 4-5th purchase this year, It’s a product I use every day for that gorgeous overlay of bronze and blush. its hidden shimmer adds a lovely glow to the cheeks!

LUSH Phoenix Rising Bath Bomb (£3.35) is another repurchase, I picked this bath bomb up in a lush event and I loved the exquisite scent! I love the smell of the spices and the oily layer it forms on your skin when you’re in the bath, the shea butter definitely nourishes your skin in a swirl of purple!

LUSH Mint Julips Lip Scrub (£5.50) has a gorgeous ‘scrummy’ scent to it. The smell and taste reminds me of mint choc – definitely an After Eight (chocolate) taste to it. Who doesn’t love the smell of mint? This is my second lip scrub and I think their perfect to buff and soften your lips before you apply lipstick/gloss.

LUSH The Comforter Bubble Bar (£4.75) has a pretty candy floss scent to it – very similar to the snow fairy shower gel and that smelt amazing! It’s definitely a bubble bar to relax in with pink foam to feel all girly! This bar especially, you get at least 3 baths out of it – even better right?

a haul of hauls W7 Loads of Lashes Fibre Mascara (£3.99) is basically a tube filled with white fibre to add to your lashes when applying mascara to thicken and lengthen. This is a natural way of getting the ‘false lash’ effect. I’ve used a couple of similar products and find it so much easier doing this, it doesn’t harm your lashes and it’s effortless compared to applying fake eyelashes.

Urban Decay Shadow Box (£23) I was so excited to pick this up! The colours are incredibly bright and pigmented and I cannot wait to experiment with the blues and greens. I haven’t bought an eyeshadow palette in such a while, the packaging of this cute little palette definitely drew me in! *I will be posting a review on this very soon.

Measurable Difference Lash DefEYE Mascara (£2.99) is not a brand I was really familiar with, but after seeing a few of their products in Tkmaxx, for the price I thought I may as well see how I get on with them. I haven’t used this product yet but the brush seems easier to use, it’s a thin brush with spiral bristles!

LUSH Blue Skies And Fluffy White Clouds Bubble Bar (£4.75) smells like aniseed! This is one of my favourite scents and my favourite colour is blue.. my perfect bubble bar for me, again its a double sized bar so I get quite a few baths out of it – I try to make it last as long as possible. The exotic scent definitely relaxes me!

a haul of hauls

LUSH Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub (£8.75) is an exfoliating shower scrub with sea salt that smells so fresh I just had to buy it! not only is this a shower scrub, the mineral-rich sea salt also volumises and adds shine to your hair! I can’t wait to try this on my hair. It’s quite a big tub too so it should last my quite a long time!

LUSH Big Blue Bath Bomb (£3.35) is very similar to the shower scrub, it contains sea salt and seaweed – it smells a lot nicer than you think trust me!! It has cleansing oils of lavender and lemon so this will be a treat for your skin in the bath!

Meaurable Difference Baked Highlighter (£2.99) looked really good on first impressions but after trying it, I felt it was more of just a matte powder than a highlighter. I felt it could be used more of a baked powder to set your makeup than a highlighter, but for the price it’s a great shade and feels long-lasting!

So that’s what I picked up in my latest haul! What do you think?
