YSL Rouge Volupte Shine

YSL Rouge Volupte ShineSo while I was waiting to board my plane, I stepped into the Duty Free section. I was literally swooning at all my favourite brands under one roof. I just knew I had to pick something up from YSL! I love their lip products for their packaging and durability. I drew my eyes to the Rouge Volupté Shine collection and after lots of swatches, I picked the perfect all year round shade.

Yves Saint Laurent’s packaging is so luxurious so just looking at their products it’s enough to tempt you to buy! This specific collection has a stunning array of shades that contain a cocktail of lip care as well as long-lasting plump colour. I decided to go for Fuchsia In Excess 5. This looks like a light cherry red in the gold casket, but swatched, it has a lot more light pink and red tones.

This collection gives a more hydrated look so your lips feel moisturised all day and shiny but the lip colour barely budges all day! If your after a lipstick that smells amazing, you need this! It smelt so fruity in the packaging and on the lips! I love how they’ve used the colour around the packaging as a belt – such a unique idea that sets your lipstick apart from any of the others!

I picked this up for around £21 but retails at £26 on the high street. This is my third lipstick from YSL and it’s just made me want to try more. If your after a lipstick that shines all day, lasts and doesn’t dry your lips: try it!
