Benefit Hoola Zero Tanlines

Benefit Hoola Zero Tan Lines Body Bronzer

Your favourite bronzer can now be applied all-over for a beautiful glow! When Hoola Zero Tanlines body bronzer got released, I just had to pick it up and see if it could replace my self tannerBenefit Hoola Zero Tan Lines Body Bronzer Benefit Hoola Zero Tan Lines Body Bronzer

I’ve been a fan of Benefit for a few years now and I’ve noticed lately how they have really stepped up their game in the Beauty industry, not like they need to! Benefit brings out new products a couple of times a year but with a few months in, we’ve seen a beautiful collection arrive just in time for Spring.

Well now it’s finally starting to look like Spring/ Summer I decided to talk about their body bronzer that I have loved using lately. I’ve had Hoola Zero Tanlines for about a month now and used it three times on its own or over self tan.

The Hoola Collection compromises of the very popular hoola powder bronzer with adding a liquid version called Dew The Hoola and this all-over body bronzer Zero Tanlines. This new bronzing collection gives you three products to wear anytime of the year but for a lot of us, this year we have definitely needed that extra glow in the horrible weather.

I’m not gonna lie, the packaging certainly drew me in. Benefit are known for one of the prettiest packaging for makeup and this collection is stunning. I love the tropical Hawaiian vibe to the products especially with the palm trees, pineapples and even the hoola skirt lid – such a cute touch.

Zero Tanlines comes with 147ml of product so it’s a fairly decent size, it definitely looks more in person I thought which I was happy about! It’s a squeezy tube so its easy to apply and the gel formula isn’t too runny so no worries about too much product being applied than needed.

This exotic body bronzer comes with a buffer sponge that fits perfectly in the hoola screw lid. I love the organisation of this product and we all know applying tan and the sponge can get messy! This sponge helps you apply the product to give you a result without stripes. A product that says ‘zero tanlines’ definitely has a lot to ask for doesn’t it?

We’ve all tried self tan whether its instant or gradual we always worry about patches and white lines were it hasn’t rubbed in. I’ve tried this a couple of times now and honestly I’ve never found a missed spot. The gel makes it so easy to rub into the skin and it dries pretty quick too.

So you immediately have a tanned result with Hoola Zero Tanlines but it does come off after taking a shower. It has a really nice fruity scent, so no fake tan smell. I’ve worn this body bronzer on nights out and even with spilt drinks, you couldn’t really notice on my skin.

If you just want a subtle glow you can definitely use this on its own and just build it depending on your skin tone and how dark you want to be. For me, I used this more as a finishing coat on top of existing tan for a natural finish.

It dries fast, its lightweight and doesn’t feel sticky and you can build up layers evenly. The bronzer is supposed be transfer-proof (but not water-proof) for 12 hours, and I noticed it didn’t rub onto my clothes so everything it says it does, does!

The sponge applicator is quick to apply but I ended up using a hand mitt instead and used the sponge more on my face and neck for a precise application.

It says it can be used on all skin tones and with a low pigment, I can definitely see this working well on everyone. As you can see in the swatch below with one squeeze, the gel is lightweight and buildable.

With just one little coat, you can see it hasn’t done much to my skin tone. In person you could tell more but that’s what I love about this, you can just apply as much as you need for the shade you desire! This is something I’d take away on holiday with me for the night-time if I need to hide tan lines or if I need that extra glow, why not eh?!

I’ve loved trying out Hoola Zero Tanlines and its my go-to skin finish for me! It wouldn’t replace my self tan all together but if you want a quick bronze, you need to try this.

Have you tried this? Is this something you would use?

  14. […] Finally, one of the newest body bronzes but it has done well to make it on the list! So the Hoola Zero Tanlines acts as a body bronzer but it can look nice on its own or teamed with an existing tan. The tanning gel can be built for your desired shade and smells so nice for fake tan. It dries really quick and its just perfect for on the go for an instant bronze. I’m 100% gonna take this on holiday for the night time and it just washes off. This is the only one I’ve noticed that even with spillages and contact with water, it doesn’t fade or budge! Win win. Detailed review here. […]
