March Favourites

As we’re well on our way into Spring, another monthly favourites post is needed! Today I’m sharing berry pink shades, floral scents and an illuminating primer.

To start off, how cute is my new blog prop? You guys know I normally feature my cats in my blog photos but today I couldn’t resist using this with my pink products.

So in this post I’ve featured recent purchases that I just couldn’t put down this month! I love when you buy something and you just think, how did I manage with out this?

Well of course you will have noticed I’ve just featured the Barry M ‘Matte Me Up’ lip kits in my recent post. So I felt it was only needed to mention them here because seriously, they are amazing. I’ve worn ‘Runway’ so much since I got them the beginning of March and if you fancy trying a liquid lipstick start here, you won’t be disappointed!

Lancome also surprised me with their new La Base Pro Hydra Glow Illuminating primer in the post a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been using this with a couple of foundations to test it and so far I really like it! It’s got such a dewy radiant glow that has a rose / pearl finish. It definitely stops that dry feeling after wearing your foundation for a while – so hydrating to most primers.

Talking about illuminating, I was lucky enough to pick up the Too Faced Better Together gift set that features the candlelight highlighting powder in ‘rosy glow’. I gotta tell you, this highlight and blush duo is soo cute. It’s a tiny compact but it has a huge impact on the skin. It’s stunning as an eyeshadow or radiance on the brow bone.

So I just have to mention this £4 eyeshadow palette from Max Studio. Yeah how cheap? I picked this up in Tkmaxx a few weeks ago and I just love how the shades reminded me of Naked 3. This palette is named ‘Canyon’ and I’m not sure where else you can buy it? I’ve featured the gold shade in the swatches below and it’s quite pigmented considering the price, it blends easy too!

Another product I’ve loved trying is the L.A Girl Pro.Conceal in ‘classic Beige’. Of course I can now see why everyone loves this, its got a brush applicator and applies so easily. It does wonders of covering my dark circles and acne.. Jobs a good’en!

Finally a beautiful scent from Michael Kors. Their Sexy Sunset is literally summer in a bottle. It’s zesty, its floral and its the perfect spritz to keep in your bag. It also has notes of blackcurrant which means it has a slight parma violets smell to it. With so many floral notes such as rose and jasmine – you can imagine how lush this smells and I mean the packaging says a lot in itself!

Have you tried any of my favourites? What do you have your eye on this month?

  1. It all looks lovely and looks like it would all compliment my blonde hair and pale skin! I can’t wait for the warmer weather to start wearing more spring like colours! X
