Pixi recently sent me an array of beauty goodies and I couldn’t wait to create a festive makeup look with them!
This is my first beauty blog post in way too long. As you may have noticed I’ve been doing a lot more fashion and lifestyle recently. Well, the reason why I’m doing this Pixi Beauty post today, is a special one.
It’s my blog’s 6th birthday!
To celebrate I’m taking it back to my roots with a beauty review and a HUGE giveaway at the end of this post. Make sure you read on to see how to enter…
So its halfway through November nearly now so it’s definitely okay to say the C-word. Christmas that is! With me receiving some gorgeous items from Pixi recently I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to do a festive look with them.
Plus the packaging and the shades of the collection are definitely perfect for a Christmas present or two.
Pixi’s new PixiPretties collection
The PR team sent me the full PixiPretties collection which is filled with makeup items that will certainly make you sparkle this festive season. For my eyes I’m wearing the Eye Heart palette (£18). This contains 6 gorgeous wearable shades for a day or a night time look. I used a mix of the bright pinks and bronze colours to create this very subtle festive look. If you’re wanting to dareing but not too bold this certainly is a go-to look.
To finish this eye look I used the Fairy Lights in the shade Mirage. This is a gorgeous rose gold glitter which just sweeps onto your lids and you’re done. It’s part of the Lit Kit (£16) which is a great stocking filler. Also in this kit includes a gorgeous coral shade liquid lipstick (Coral Bang). This is great for gals who don’t like a bright red lip!
And that’s my finished look! All you need is a Christmas jumper and you’re good to go. The collection also includes some gorgeous highlighters and lip icings. Basically, if you want all the glow and glitters this Christmas – it’s you’re one-stop-shop. You can shop the full collection here.
