Can you believe my little slice of the internet is four years old?!
Throughout my time blogging I’ve tried hundreds of different beauty products to see whats works and what didn’t step up to the mark. I often get asked whats your favourite mascara, whats your favourite foundation and in person it’s so easy to just say!
On here so much goes on that sometimes my ultimate favourites get lost in the stream of beauty posts. So today, as requested by a lot of you, I’m sharing my beauty faves of what I wear daily and what have been my beauty discoveries over the four years…
Primer – Benefit Porefessional. I love the creamy texture of this and pairs lovely with any foundation, I’ve noticed when I wear this my makeup doesn’t budge ALL day.
Body Lotion – Lush Snow Fairy. My readers know my fave product from Lush has to be Snow Fairy, this body conditioner is literally candyfloss in a tub – you smell lovely all year round. It’s also a good lotion for shaving.
Nude Lipstick – Charlotte Tilbury Sexy Sienna. This is more a coral but my go-to nude lipstick you’ll find 90% of the time I’m wearing this. Mac Velvet Teddy was a close contender!
Blush – Nars Super Orgasm. This is such a bright pink blush but has speckles of gold so pairs gorgeous with a golden highlighter. I’ve used this for about three years now and nothing compares.
Haircare – Redken Pillow Proof Primer. Yes that’s right a primer for your hair! I use this before blowdrying and it speeds up the process as well as leaving your hair super soft. It’s perfect before you straighten or curl.
Self-Tan – Bondi Sands Tanning Foam. I’ve tried so many brands but this by far is my fave. I’ve worn this for about two years now and love the colour, it also comes off really nice too – no streaks!
Concealer – Seventeen Skin Wow. This is basically a budget-friendly version of the Touche Eclat and like the name, it really helps your skin pop. I use this daily to hide dark circles and any acne.
Eyeliner – Lancome Grandiose Liner. If you like a long-lasting matte finish, this is my go-to. It’s a shame its pricey but I love the easy application of this.
Brow Gel – Freedom Brow Pomade. Always wondered what I use for my brows? I swear by this. It’s only £5 and in three years I’m only onto my second pot. It gives a perfect shape and again lasts all day.
Setting Powder – Vichy Dermablend. I would usually boast about a setting spray but this product is so underrated it needs mentioning! I always use this for a foolproof look.
Face Mask – Lancome Sleeping Mask. I love a night cream, I’m quite lazy when it comes to skincare but I always use this before bed. It plumps your skin overnight and you wake up to a fresh face!
Eyeshadow palette – UD Naked 3. I love this palette for the warm nude / pink colours and the golden shade is gorgeous. It’s an everyday palette for me especially from Spring to Summer.
Brow Powder – L’Oreal Brow Kit. I love the powder in this, its such a travel friendly size with the applicator and tweezers. I use the powder over the pomade to set my brows.
Bronzer – Mac Skinfinish Dark Deep. I love this shade. It blends perfectly to create an effortless contour, it’s also buildable whether I have tan on or not its the perfect shade for me.
Red Lipstick – Mac Russian Red. My all time favourite red lipstick has to be Russian Red. It’s a creamy matte and lasts all night. I wear this throughout the year, especially around the festive season.
Foundation – YSL Touche Eclat Le Teint. I’ve tried dozens of foundations but I always come back to this. 90% of the time I’ll be wearing this for the dewy coverage but also the built-in highlighter, always makes your skin look luminous.
Mascara – Lancome Monsieur Big. Again, mascara has got to be my favourite makeup item and after trying so many – I love this! It makes my eyes pop with length and volume.
Eyeshadow Palette – UD Smoky. I’m being greedy picking two palettes but for smoky and dark eye looks this again is my go-to product. You can tell I love this, I’ve hit the pan on a couple of shades. No one does it better than Urban Decay I think .
Highlighter – Charlotte Tilbury Bar of Gold. This beautifully packaged highlighter is an ultimate favourite. It’s a creamy powder and blends so nice with other powders. The golden sheen really compliments a tan and is worth the price tag if you ask me!
There you have it, all my beauty favourites in one post. Four years has flown by in the blogging world and I’ve enjoyed trying all these products – Oh and the hundreds more! I’ve been so lucky to work with a lot of beauty brands so my readers know where to shop.
